Why is Trump covering up the Epstein files while protecting pedophiles?

Trump and a bunch of republicans will be redacted in the name of “national security”

 

Y'all are rubes if you think the release of any government "file" is actually going to contain some bombshell.

Any actually damaging/incriminating evidence of any conspiracy or criminal activity (JFK/Epstein/whatever else) involving the government or powerful/influential persons was suppressed/destroyed by those powerful interests before it ever made it into any file or even if it did make it into a file it will have been destroyed long before it became public.

Today Trump once again acted like Goebbels, chief propagandist for the Nazi Party in his demand that ABC lose its license for asking him about the Epstein files. He wants to control the media, and has fought over and over to punish anyone who doesn't praise him. It's all so gross and disgusting the lengths he will take in his power quest to control information to his liking.

Impeach that nutjob! There are plenty of reasons to do it.

 

Pee Wee German is probably more culpable and is probably running more things than anybody realizes…. Trump is just a dog/pony show at this point and will be even more neutered by them putting him solely in public appearances or campaign situations.

 

So, utterly useless in terms of truth or justice... just another tool of the administration to bludgeon whomever they so choose and protect whomever they so choose.

After much hot air, Congress has accomplished simply giving Donnie Small Hands and his goons another weapon.

I believe that language is pretty standard practice. Remember executive privilege already protects the right to refuse to release documents to protect national security. But this text is also in the bill:

(b) Prohibited grounds for withholding.—In carrying out subsection (a), the Attorney General may not withhold from publication, delay the publication of, or redact any record, document, communication, or investigative material on the basis of embarrassment, reputational harm, or political sensitivity, including to any government official, public figure, or foreign dignitary.

(2) REDACTIONS.—The Attorney General shall publish in the Federal Register and submit to Congress a written justification for each redaction under paragraph (1).

The AG cannot withhold information based on the grounds outlined above AND all redactions must be justified in writing.

Yet, you are pretty much right. It doesn't matter. When Trump ordered the sham investigations, it was clear what he was going after. As I stated a few days ago.

This will now be a continuous ongoing Congress Executive "fight" that won't yield much of anything.

This reeks of corruption and a justice system that will protect the worst of the worst first, because they choose to. rather than seeking justice for all. You know damn well Bondi and Patel swore allegiance to Trump above all else.

 

But I'll add that with how incompetent this administration is, the release MIGHT actually have useful clues. So, it might not be for naught...

If you start to see a load of NATIONAL SECURITY reasons why it's redacted, that will add onto the CIA, Mossad conspiracies...
