you know I kinda get what your saying but when Jokic was in his 5th season who would have thought he would end up being who he turned into. Sengun is already playing better in year 5 then Jokic was and he’s a year younger.

what if Sengun is just one of those ones. I’m starting to think he’s just one of Those special players and he’s great enough to be the best player on the court every night. He just impacts the game so much and he is a winner he makes the winning plays on both sides.

I think Sengun is going to end up being the best player this franchise has had since Hakeem and we’ve had some great ones. We’re title contenders with a 23 year old as the best player. Now I know we have KD and he’s by far the most accomplished and best talent on the team but Sengun is the man it’s his team we go as he goes imo.

what Sengun needs to add to his game is just working on his shooting from the midrange. Those two shots he made to start the game tonight against Orlando is what I’d like to see him come back with next year. The scary thing for the rest of the league is I believe he will. He keeps getting better every year. He so young and so good already. The game is just going to get easier and easier for him like it did for Jokic.

go back and look at Jokic in year 5 alp is 23/10/7 Jokic was 20/10/7. Sengun imo is better scoring the ball than Jokic was at this stage. Jokic is a better passer and I don’t think Goon will ever be that passer than Joker is. That’s no shade at Goon he’s a great passer but more so showing how special Jokic is. He’s maybe actually not maybe he is one of the best passers of all time no matter position. With that said I do believe Sengun can become the scorer Jokic is. I don’t like comparing the two I think Sengun game is different but I think he’s going to be in that class of player with Jokic and Giannis. They’re the two bets bigs and Goon will be with them. In fact goon has Better handles then both of them imo. How many centers can dribble the ball up court go behind his back crossover take it to the hoop? Can face up from 30 ft out and take it off the dribble to the hoop? The next evolution is face up take it off the dribble but not all the way. Take it to 15-18ft. Once he gets that down he’ll be unstoppable.

long post I know but I’m just saying Sengun is the real deal and we can win it all as long as we have him. We’re lucky.

Vastly different players, Jokic is much like Luka or Harden was - an Ecosystem of its own.....Supercomputer Brainiac.

Also Joker weighed 300 pounds once I believe....massive body type.

Sengün is more like the best version of a Swiss Army Knife.......plug in and problem solver Superstar type.

Unless he can survive without Durant and let Durant defer to him completely in the Playoffs -then he is JOKIC!

    Great post.

When you add 3PT range into the equation of his production, his potential output is stunningly high. There's no reason to believe he won't peak at an efficient 28ppg including 3PT range and 8+ assists. That's almost James Harden level offensive production.

Where his impact will shock people is that an average rim protector brings a massive volume of production to a team. An above average rim protector is probably as impactful as an excellent wing defender (if not more). That you can build a top 10 defense with Sengun as your C makes a world of difference. That's the difference between him and Sabonis.

When you combine his offense and defense, his potential output is immense. Jokic-esque.

Brooks was the real talent we had to give up, Jalen was the throw in to match the money.

Sengun is great but he’s not Joker. Either people don’t understand how insanely good Joker is or they are just being complete homers. Do people really not see how rare it is in the NBA to do what Joker is doing and has done? He is literally an entire offensive system. He’s going to go down as the greatest center to ever play the game. This is not a common thing.

It looks like he has successfully changed the culture for PHX and Houston, he was the glue guy in Memphis too. Memphis should have just traded Bane, now they are potentially blowing the whole team up.

Yeah, Joker's ability to see 3 moves before his opponent player is insane.......

He is like a Marvel Character. That said, Sengün is younger, more athletic and mobile.

Tari was becoming a problem. How's he going to act when DFS starts taking his minutes?

Considering that Jokic finished 4th in MVP voting by his 4th season I think people had some idea?

Now when Durant retires we just need to find a way to bring Jokic over to play alongside Alpi. Then the league is ROYALLY screwed.

He’s not going to be Joker. Joker is literally generational talent. There is nothing like him and there won’t be for a long time.

We did. Holiday is a very poor rotation piece. It is obvious to me that Reed and Okogie should get the majority of his minutes and Jabari take on a few more. No need to go so deep on the bench for 4-6 weeks. I’m starting to think DFS isn’t going to play this year, given how little information they are giving out.
