Not sure a about no- elite QB approach to every team

Though a team with elite tier defense - where a lot of cap will go to the star defensive players - a Joe Flacco, Wentz/Foles/Hurts approach is valid. (*Eli wasnt ever elite.. only in playoff stretches. He did beat the GOAT though*)

Yes I have watched football for the past 50 years. My point is that a great offensive line, offensive coach, and rushing threat is important. You can pay CJ 65 million, but it won't matter if all the money is spent on defense and the QB, and we keep doing by with mediocre and bargain bin offensive linemen and mediocre offensive coaches.

Ravens will win the AFCN. Rogers has a slight wrist break after today.

We have the same record as the Chiefs. LOL
Probably because our division has only one good team.
If we turn this season around I would be ecstatic though. Our chances of making the playoffs will all depend on us beating some really big odds.

If we don't lose CJ, we beat Denver easily. If Nico doesn't fumble against Jax, or Dare against LA, or we tackle Baker on 4th down smh.

We would be 7-3, maybe even 8-2

Interesting fact: the Colts have scored more points than any team in the AFC, by a wide margin.

And you have a great Oline and a GREAT run game, but it does you no good in today's NFL with an average QB.

As bad as things have looked, the Texans control their destiny (in making the playoffs).

The problem is CJ is looking more and more like an average QB

Things looked like they were starting to click when he got hurt.

Unfortunately CJ is the only QB in the league that has to take an entire sabbatical when he gets a concussion.

I hope so. We really need to find out what exactly he is.
But yes, hopefully he’s back for Thursday. Maybe the concussion was worse than thought?

I mean I truly hope he’s okay. But I also unapologetically long for the good ole days when Dan Pastorini could go on a 24 hour bender of ludes, booze, and women. Stumble into the stadium with a developing hangover, get concussed 4x on the field in the first quarter, and keep slinging.

Yeah man. Boys are soft these days. Game play is better, but doesn’t have the same flare

You just said it's not the old days anymore. Meaning it's a league wide protocol approach now, less an individual matter

Brian Daboll literally got fired partly from allowing multiple concussions to Jaxson Dart this year. That brings even more coach caution to put in the QB at less than 95%

Really it's more selectivity of the QB position. ln todays game, the QB gets the most investment, and the most safety precautions, over other positions. We don't really see the same protectionism with linebackers, who maybe every 3rd linebacker is Pastorini'ing it for all we know lol

I can't disagree at all and I would add giving players important rest rather than maximizing revenue by crazy schedules.

If the hit doesn't hurt, it COULD lead to neck problems. Not saying it will, but who knew Hard helmets would lead to more concussions?

I am happy we won, but dam that was to close against a Titans team that sucks BUT they had a BYE and a new interim coach so there is that. Listening to the post game show with Clint and Sean, Clint made a good case why CJ should not play on Thursday, hasn't cleared protocol, really no full contact practice and he`s been out for 2 weeks...............kind of makes sense that Money Mills plays Thursday and then give CJ 10 days to get ready for the next game............not sure we win this without CJ, but what do I know, I am just a hyper critical fan who wants to WIN

The 9-2 Broncos have a 19th ranked QB but a top 3 offensive line. Tell me it doesn't make a difference.
