With the departure of Tari's oblique for the next 4 weeks, I can see Sheppard attempting 13 FGs per game(9 right now). Udoka for sure encourages it and has been encouraging Sengun to take more shots for a few years now. Never does, stays at 15/16. But Reed is going to have to. There is not much off the bench scoring left with Eason gone. 4 extra shots for Reed, 6 more between Holiday/Unc/ Tate to get Eason's off the bench production. That would put Reed about 17 pts per game. It's a shame his Thespian skills are at zero right now. But I see great potential
Alperen, Amen and Reed are supreme examples of how understanding basketball is the most transferable skill from every level to the NBA. (in this past draft this applies to Kon Knueppel apparently)
I remember once someone on the Internet posted something like when Manu and Harden flopped together in the game here, somewhere across the country, Chris Paul simultaneously flopped... just because.
Yep. If we didnt trade for kd hed have been my trade up target. But i liked a few players from tjis past draft. Also, want to point out that sometimes these types of guys like Reed and Sengun just need the right situation and patience. Especially Reed coming into a team that was already very competitive against amongst the best teams in the league
Funny, i have the game sound off and thought they were reviewing bane hitting him in the head for a flagrant
What's sad is the basically rookie is the only person on the team with a spine. His teammates should have decked desmond or coach should have said something. Im pretty disappointed at the pussiness of this team
+19 in a narrow win proves what I’ve been seeing with the eye test. Having him as a floor spacer gives our other players more room to work with, would love to see him get more run with the starters
