Partly that and wanting him to lift weights instead. You need both strength and flexibility. Instead they were applauding the Ime and FVV broing it out with the boxing.
You're welcome we at the YMCA would be out 2 days max. I mean seriously 4-6 weeks is not a serious injury, it will be fine, this is not time to chicken little ****. DD
Tate himself is coming off an injury. Stone goofed up with the DFS signing. Okogie was a great pickup.
Agreed that we will be fine. But it’s also not a time to pretend that this doesn’t have any impact at all on his upcoming contract. Some players are just more injury prone. Even if the injury is a freak injury, with some players it’s “always something”. So far, three years in a row that’s been the case with Tari. Any GM worth his weight in salt will certainly consider his overall injury history, including this year and make his offers accordingly (with the injury history on their mind). Heck the Rockets already did the same thing.
You can see the injury happen at around the 5 minute mark of the video below, or about 7 minutes left in the second quarter. Jru Holiday accidentally bumps into Eason who wasn't even guarding him at the time. Just bad luck.
i wouldn’t say he goofed. It’s a similar gamble to when he traded for a Steven Adams, who was also recovering from surgery. Hopefully pays off once DFS is ready and gets back in game shape.
... Time to experiment with Isiah Crawford. For assessing his value and also as a potential contingency plan if Tari decides to take bigger Deal / role elsewhere when his contract matures.
This is an extremely unfortunate injury, and I hope he recovers as quickly as possible, we really need him. The silver lining is that we might be able to extend him on a team friendly deal since no other team is likely to offer him more than 15 million per season given his injury history. That could allow us to keep him as part of our long term core.
