The difference is that after starting off slow, Clint is averaging 6 rebounds in only 11 minutes in the 7 games in November. I am more than happy with his progress. He definitely isn't there yet, but his progress is noticeable. Tate is still so bad he's basically unplayable. The scary thing is he'll get more time during Tari's absence.
He has missed a bunch of bunnies this year way more than 3, but I’m not concerned. I also thinks he passes out to the three when he should go ahead and score quite a bit. Still not concerned, if we need him to he can average 25 points a game after he adjusts to his new role. He should be averaging about 8 assists, but for some reason guys are missing shots they usually make and it may be that he hardly ever makes a pass in the half court that’s not to a 3 point shooter. His ability to get to the rim is elite and when this team gets in sync our offense is going to be unbelievable. It is eye test. I’m not big on researching stats and not sure if there is a stat for missed layups.
LOL. I’ve wanted to break the rule myself a few times. The only reason I created the thread was because I was really sick of all the arguments over +-, Reed’s vertical leap and other stupid stats that don’t mean a damn thing.
I'm hoping we'll give Tari's minutes to Jeff Green and Aaron Holiday based on matchups...Jasean Tate looking like he was hanging out too much at Turkey Leg Hut this past offseason.
I think Reed and Okogie will see the biggest increase, followed by Holiday, Tate and Jabari. Jabari is already playing high minutes. Uncle Jeff is cooked. He might see extra time when the Rockets have a big lead.
