Hip, Oblique. same thing. oh man. At least it's not out for the season, looking at the positives. Finney Smith is still hanging with Mixon so it's going to be a collective effort. Increase CC's playing time from 6 to 12. Then add some Holiday season and Tate.
Honestly given the amount of hype this offseason Amen is a bit underwhelming (which matches the eye test somehow)
If you give any credence to this bullshite, you are just a box score watcher and know nothing about who is contributing to this Rocket team. This is Sengun’s and Amen’s team now and for the next decade. Without Amen’s gravity getting to the rim and defense this team would be close to 500.
Ok pls call me a box score watcher. I could not care less. You don’t need to take any single innocuous comment and blow it infinitely out of proportion. There is zero benefit to constructive discussion.
I am. He hasn’t looked as engaged on defense all year. If he was struggling from 3, I’m guessing his attitude would be even worse. The rest of this team seems to be all for one and one for all. If there is a bright side to his injury, it might wake him up from his funk and make him realize that he needs to ball out to get even close to the contract he wants.
For some games, it looked like his mind is somewhere else and he is not fully concentrated. He's been much better in the last few games.
I don't know anything about these metrics, so unsure if defense plays a part. One thing I do know is, it's absolutely insane forcing Amen to play zone defense and taking away the one thing he is lights out the best in the league at - hounding his man one on one. We've seen one trailing from behind highlight block so far this season thanks to the stupid zone.
Yeah and also once his on ball load is alleviated (possibly with Reed ramping up or via trade) he will be back to his normal, dominating force that we are accustomed to seeing, is my prediction
