Individual defensive stats are massively flawed imo, but while we're on the topic... Reed actually has the highest Defensive BPM on the team.
I don't get how a post like this doesn't get more love. "I was wrong" posts should be acknowledged on here and respected.
Sheppard's rank in PT among Rockets players for each game: 10/21: #6 10/24: #7 10/27: #7 10/29: #8 11/1: #8 11/3: #7 11/5: #7 11/7: #5 11/9: #5 11/12: #6 11/14: #5 Not starting yet, but working his way into that Sam Cassell role.
He did play last year and was an absolute atrocity the first 20 games before Ime showed mercy and finally sent him down to G-League. After re-establishing his confidence in G-League, they brought him back to the main squad for the rest of the year where he got a few opportunities in the second half of the season. People like you who think Ime should have force fed Reed 20+ mpg are absolutely clueless. Besides, why don't you stop whining about last year? What in the world is the point? Let's look forward from where we are now and enjoy Reed's continued growth. People like you who complain for nothing when times are good are just so annoying. Why don't you enjoy a very fun team instead? Stop living in the delusional past. Goodness gracious. Rockets just smacked down a decent team, Reed has been playing well and you're crying about last year. SMH!
I don't care about this at all. More important are Reed's mins/game and when he's on the floor. Last 4 games he's averaged 26 mins and he's played the lion's share of the 4th quarter. I am totally satisfied with that.
