This halftime shows somehow translates better on camera and still sucks.

 

1st half comments:

KD will terrify opponents if they don't make him enemy #1. Blazers didn't read that part of the book.

Alpi hit some jumpers, including a couple more 3s, which was huge.

After being a big fat nothing during his first shift starting the game, it was great to see Jabari punish the Blazers after he returned in the 2nd quarter and end up with 15 points. Moar of that please! A slow start doesn't have to mean a slow game.

Coming in when the Rockets were down 5, Adams/Reed/Tari flipped the scripted with a +14 to turn the game around.

I hope Tari is OK. EDIT: A hip contusion is not something to worry about. Hopefully he won't miss any games.

It sure seems like the Rockets had more than 3 TOs. Regardless, the Blazers had 9, which allowed the Rockets more FGAs.

Holding Avdija to 4 points and leading by only 9 is disappointing.

I have an uneasy feeling about the 2nd half.
