100%. If you were to take that list for just this season I could see the argument for most of the players listed. However, Sengun just turned 23 and is still massively improving season to season. In a couple more years he could easily be top 10, maybe even top 5, particularly as other players age out or are diminished due to injuries. People are stll underestimating Sengun.
He's shooting 42% from 3 so far. I doubt that it will last the whole season. I mean, if Reed can sustain 42% the whole way, I'll be ecstatic. Sengun shooting around 35% on 3-4 attempts a game is my wildest hope. If he can do that, he'll be a top 10 player, no more debate.
Alpi has taken a step, he's playing with aggression, his passes are better, he's more creative, it looks like he's completely improved his entire skillset. I think he keeps it up, he's different, having Ime and Fred was one thing but having Kevin ****ing Durant in his ear has fully activated him. He's been impressive, this is his true breakout season, on this trajectory he's going to be an All-Star
Sengun was one assist away from 25 points triple double tonight. Not to mention he was 4-6 from 3. He look ok.
25-10-9-3-3 against Portland and didn't even tried. I love how low his usage rate is despite being in the MVP ladder. He lets others to involve heavily in every aspect too and this creates unselfish, fun basketball.
When Alpi is both popping the jumper and keeping the TOs down, he's a legit MVP candidate. He had as complete a game as is possible against the Blazers.
I’m amazed that our new Scola drains threes like there’s no tomorrow, just like the legend himself... literally.
It's kind of crazy when you think about just how many wide open three point shots he creates for players - gives them the ball right in their shooting pocket - and they just straight up miss. His assist numbers could be so much more insane. Honestly should be throwing the book at Mike Malone. Not only building an offensive off of movement to make things easier for Sengun, but to get Reed better shots off of movement in space. What are you doing Patty Tilman.
His 3 ball is looking amazing. Defenses are already starting to respect it significantly more, which has played a big part in opening the floor for everybody else. If this sticks he's absolutely gonna be a full on superstar.
