It’s not about the players being cowardly it’s about the league making offense a prerogative and the players adjusting to take advantage of the rules, like good coaches and players will always do.

I watched a lot of the game. Same Cam, different uniform. His athletic gift is undeniable, but he's not a winning player (yet). He is so gifted, but it's like a bull in a china shop, complete with tunnel vision. He needs to mature and to find a veteran mentor/coach to take him under their wing. And he has to listen. I still question the mental fortitude and his "coach-ability". His attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I know he's young, but I've always said that if Cam had Reed's attitude and willingness to learn, he'd still be here and in the rotation.... and they are the same age. He is still way too pouty and has that negative body language.

That all being said, I wish he could have found the playing time and made a meaningful connection to some of the vets on our squad. He and Ime strike me as a really bad match, given their personalities. Ime is no nonsense, and probably doesn't have the patience to deal with a young kid trying to grow up. At times, Cam was so fun to watch. I wish him the best in his career. Hope it's successful

I was impressed that Cam had an assist last night. That's number six for the year.

Cowards, I hate the gamesmenship, it isn't basketball -I have no problem calling a foul a foul but let's apply those rules and give FOUL calls for flops too.

I agree, but is the NBA’s fault not the players. They are maximizing their value and would be foolish not to take advantage of the rules. I hate it as well, but calling the players b*thches for doing what is best for both their careers and winning is pointing the finger in the wrong direction.

Both can be true, the players are b****ES, not everyone is doing it....Cade dramatized the crap out of that.

If the Premier League were in the United States, goals would be worth 7 points and everything would be a penalty.

That is what people don't understand about soccer vs football, a 2-1 game with 6 other good chances is like a 20-13 game in the NFL......7 points for each Goal/TD, and 3pts for each near goal for a FG etc.

Is anybody else really disappointed in the trajectory of Cam’s career? I was almost certain that he’d put up big numbers in a losing situation in Washington and he’s making me look like a chump again (which I consistently am, when it comes to Cam)

    Very disappointed.

Congrats to Cam on being -21 in tonight's game.

Remember… always question the ethic and impact of guys that are big prospects that don’t impact winning in college. Cam didn’t win in college… neither did Ben Simmons.

Now that he isn't on the Rockets, I don't really give a care. It's obvious trading Scam for chump change was the right move. There is no place for him and his sorry attitude on this team.

Cam could be playing for the #8 team in the league, competing for a Championship and learning the finer points of the game from Kevin Durant. Instead, he wanted out and he's middling around on the #30 team with no one really there to sharpen his game but McCollum and he ain't exactly what I'd call top tier talent.

    Careful what you wish for.

Yeah. I was pretty sure in his first 10-20 games as a rookie that he'd compete with Jalen for the SG spot moving forward. At worst a 6th man of the year in year 2. Perfect build, great athleticism, brings toughness on offense (thought it would translate to defense), and not knowing how to pass usually doesn't take long to fix.

To see him competing with Corey Kispert for bench minutes on the worst team in the NBA in his 3rd year is disappointing. I don't think he's hopeless. I think he eventually figures things out. I just think it will be closer to his mid 20's and we didn't have that much time to wait having just opened a championship window.
