Not gonna lie, I wouldn’t mind getting AD. Give them their pick back and some fillers. He would give us the offensive and defensive punch that we’re missing in tight games. He’s the only worth it big fish I see available where we can hang onto Amen, Alpi and Reed. And Durant of course.
How would we get him, though, contractually speaking? Even if we could Include FVV - which we likely cannot - there’s still a 30 mil gap.

I don’t really want us to further mortgage our future for another guy with a 2-3 year window, we did enough getting KD. If we can get somebody dirt cheap, with guys like FVV, Clint, DFS and 1 protected pick, okay consider it. Perhaps Jrue Holiday could be that guy. But if we try to trade Sengun for AD, or Reed and multiple UNP 1st for Kyrie this franchise will be doomed
I don't think anyone need sweat a potential trade of Sengun for AD. Kyrie flaked out pretty hard on Durant in Brooklyn so I don't see Stone even trying that route, either.

Why would they need to blow up their core? FVV, fillers, and the Dallas 29 pick is probably enough to get it done. There is only an $11MM difference between FVV and Kyrie's contracts.
