Unfortunately, I don't think the Colts are a paper tiger. I'd have to think about it... but I'm not sure there're a better set of skills players in the NFL. They currently have the best RB in football, a top 3-5 tight end, and a WR room that is really deep and talented. And their coach is obviously a great offensive mind. Your only hope is that Jones is a fraud (and I think the Texans D could expose him) - but it's been 10 games..... I think the hope that he'll implode and derail all of this is growing less and less likely.

The Colts strike me as legit contenders.

The Patriots are a bit fraudulent as they truly have had an incredibly easy schedule. BUT! They do have roads wins in Buffalo and Tampa and Drake Maye, right now, is a top 2-3 QB - he's playing out of his mind. And they'll have an extreme HFA in the playoffs.

Denver is a fraud, IMO. Bo Nix is a bad QB. The Texans win that game if CJ doesn't get hurt. Chargers don't worry me.

I think the AFC still runs through KC, Baltimore and probably Buffalo.

Colts were already strong with Gardner Minshew & Anthony Richardson. For all the Anthony Richardson criticism, he has a winning record as a starter. They just needed to improve the D and solidify QB for the next step. Which they seem to have done. I consider them legit

The whole Colts offense is going through JT. He's the engine. Jones has been coming back down to earth, but unfortunately JT is just inhuman.

Colts are very beatable if teams can contain JT, but thats easier said than done. He should be MVP

Yeah the colts have a lot of pieces and a good offensive coach. Unfortunately for them Daniel Jones will absolutely not get them to the promised land if they end up facing Josh Allen or Patty Mahomes in the playoffs. I’d also feel that way if they face the Ravens and possible the Chargers.

He’s not a trash QB, but he’s benefitting immensely from the weapons around him. Jonathan Taylor isn’t going for 250 in a gotta have it game against the best in the AFC. Hopefully for the Texans, Jones is good enough that the Colts pay him 800 billion dollars and we get to feast against that turd face for the next five years, because Taylor’s gonna break down with this workload (over the next few years).

I would be alright if our ENTIRE draft was OL, TE, and RB. However, methinks Demeco is gonna take an interior d lineman first round.

Next year Texans gonna lead the NFL in scoring defense, yards, sacks, rush yards, pass yards, turnovers forced, defensive scores, passes defended, EPA, xWoba, BABIP, and PER - and the team is gonna go 9-8 and average 13.7 points per game on the back of a loaded running back crew featuring [insert 30 year old injury prone/washed up running back] win a home playoff game at 2:30 pm on Saturday, and get trounced in the divisional in a game that never feels close but ends as a “one score” game.

I think the magic number for us is 10 wins to make the playoffs. If true, we need to win 6 of our remaining 8. I think it can be done but we're going to HAVE to beat some good teams.

Taylor should be MVP. But the NFL always does that cheap thing of giving MVP to QB's, then the best RB/WR/TE gets 'Offensive Player of the Year'. So JT is most definitely OPOY at this point. And the "NFL historical trend / 2014 JJ Watt should have been MVP" award might be Maye or Stafford

Only 3 gimmes. Very unlikely. Of the good teams only Buffalo and the Colts seem doable to me. Remember our comeback was against the hapless Jaguars. They won’t do it, but this team would be better off tanking the rest of the year.

Yep, if you don't think you can win a championship then you should tank. I don't think this team can win a championship. This season should be about figuring out if CJ is the guy and getting Ersery and the other young guys experience.

KC game is a penciled loss given it's against KC, at Arrowhead, and a primetime game lol

Never seen a more predictable L

Thanks @raining threes! Great list and I'd love to see us draft a LG and OC, as well as sign another vet C/G type. I'm ok with Howard at RT, but IOL has to be a priority. Would love a TE in 2nd or 3rd.

What kid of odds could I get for a 7 game win streak (8 if you back date a week)? I exclude the final game because it is not always played to win.

I think we can take the Division with a 7 game streak.

    Texans are extremely underrated.

Healthy Stroud they would be 5-1 in there last 6.

Would be wins over three good teams.

They put themselves in a hole via CJ and Caley figuring each other out.

Would not surprise me in the least bit if they were to win out. Defense is that good.
