Maybe Jabari read Clutchfans and saw people encourage him to shoot more midrange. :D

Maybe. It's just infuriating me. JSJ is shooting too many MR shots to Clutchfans delight. Tari has drastically cut down his rim pressure, like Clutchfans wanted, because he missed a few bunnies while still making over 60% of his rim shots. For Tari, I expect some of it is Ime trying to get him to be more selective, along with Tari not getting set up as much by others, and Adams hogging all the rebounds.

JSJ is still having a very good season. Tari's decrease in offensive rebounding and rim FGAs is basically holding him back while he should be crushing it during a hot streak from 3 (well, until yesterday).

Jabari for all his ups and downs have always ended up about the same player as he's always been. At this point I don't really hold out any hope of him ever taking another step on offense. But he is lengthy and his defense should improve just naturally with more experience. And I think he will end up just being a good role player for the duration of this extention. Not good enough to be excited by, but also doesn't suck enough that I get annoyed watching him play.

He kind of reminds me of Ryan Anderson where you are kind of shocked by watching him vs seeing his percentages. I used to say about Ryan Anderson that he's the best 3 point shooter that I can't remember ever seeing make a 3 pointer. Anderson shot 40 and 38% in his last two seasons with the Rockets, but his lack of being able to make them when it mattered just drove me crazy.

Good news is Jabari is already a far more effective all around player than Ryno, and technically his percentages are... while not consistently in the 38 to 40% range, are still quite good... and as I noted, I love his form. He has beautiful mechanics. I think he'll get even better because I don't think it's his mechanics at all unless it's lower body stuff I'm not seeing.
