Reed is the best player on the team who is actually a guard. BTW, that's not a compliment, just an unfortunate truth.
A lot of it IMO is just lack of chemistry and too many guys thinking they are the main character.....and Ime being a pretty awful coach. Hopefully at least some of that can be fixed.
The double big ain't worth it to play Capela. It's cool with Adams, Adams consistently gives you defensive IQ and rebounds, with Capela it gives you nothing. It actually hurts because Jabari plays better in small lineups it feels too and the double big forces him to play as a wing which is his weakness since it means he has to create more.
What other teams play THREE non-shooting players starting or even just together? Three Ben Simmons on the court. Good lawd.
Whats wrong with Amen this year. Not finishing well in the paint. Hesitant. Porous perimeter defense. Terrible turn overs. Between him and Sheppard not to mention Durant’s ball protection issues, this team isn’t looking good right now. Not all all close to being real contenders.
jabari makes a great play and was being aggressive and what does Ime immediately do. answer take him out.
Yeah, I'm about done with these double bigs lineups with Clint. We should be using him like we used Jock last season, as a third string center. He's not playing that badly but he's just not good enough to be out there alongside Sengun. I want to see a lot more lineups with both Tari and Jabari, and when DFS comes back, we should only see double bigs at all, even with Adams, as an occasional change of pace.
