Remember when KD said he’s getting so many open looks he starts bricking because he’s not used to it? When was the last time you saw him get an easy shot that didn’t involve us spending 5 seconds getting him the ball and then another 5 seconds for him to size up his man and dribble around creating zero separation to raise up over his defender?
Nah, they are just forcing it FAR too much. Some of these TOs are on him but it's like they feel like they can't even score without him touching the ball. If he just plays within an offense he'd be great.
Exactly this. This is the issue. We were humming when he was being set up and not when it was forcing him nearly all the time.
So I guess we know now why we signed Clint: Ime wants to play double bigs the entire game It works against some opposing lineups with Adams because the rebounding and monster screens make up for the lack of spacing and difficulties guarding the 3P line, but outside of those specific situations, and with Capela generally, I don't know what he's going for here. Too often this season it's looked really, really bad on both ends.
We asking impossible but Reed gotta figure out quick and become #3 option in offense or I don’t think we’re getting out of this slump.
Everytime KD gets the ball its a turnover...I dont think see anything like this. The little bit of pressure
KD at this point in his career may not want to play PF but he's pretty useless as a SF. Not enough quickness or quick decision making. The problem is we have a lot of other guys at that position as well.
Calvin just said what the issue is and it’s pretty evident anybody who watched the Rockets play:SPACING. Durant has no spacing out there so it’s easy to double team him. . It’s the same issue we went through last season with JG. It’s so easy for opposition to take out our best perimter performer.
