Apparently the female predators are super deadly. It stalks its prey like middle age thots on unsuspecting NBA players.

Interesting fact… Jean Claude Van Damme was originally the predator but when he sucked he was replaced by a random black dude.

This movie is great fun, much better than I expected (I went in knowing nothing but a teaser trailer). It *might* be the best one since the original.

It's kinda shocking to me that that of the 4 newest Predator remakes/restarts, the one by Shane Black is the one that totally sucks.

    Everyone knows this.

He was an uncredited writer (script doctor) on that, which not everyone knows.

You Houstonians ever have issues with "carpenter bees"?

We sure did back in the day.

Well, I have a rent house and last year in Southeast Texas it had something similar coming in left and right through the drains. I’ve never had a problem here in my Htown home though.

Hell if you have a solution, I’m listening…

The decided to make home in and around our backyard porch back in the day in Houston, in every 4x4, 2x4 or 1X. They didn't really hurt anything structurally, but eventually it would have.

I agree. I thought it was a really fun movie. Saw it last night. Kind of concerning though that the theatre was 1/10 full at best. Hopefully Disney doesn’t overreact when the box office draw isn’t a billion dollars. Really want to see a follow up to this one for sure.

My only semi complaint (and I thought Elle Fanning killed it here. She’s awesome) is that in the timeline they are in, and the fact that they make a deal about the AI’s hightened emotions, I think it would have made more sense to utilize Winona Rider’s Cole if they could make her look right and not significantly older.

    Regardless this movie delivers.

    Elle Fanning was really great.

    Various crazy plants/animals, also great.

    The corporate tie-in was nice.

No complaints at all. Just a fun movie.
