He's a good player if he was drafted in the middle of the first round. His dribbling got worse(somehow). He's still scared of the paint(I think he's dunked maybe 3x this entire season, if that). People say he's a good player because they don't want to admit that he's a bust if we're judging by his draft pick. We need to stop coddling him. I swear his best game ever was his rookie year against the Pacers. He's nothing special. His mentality is what I hate. It's like he's content being an afterthought.
Yes. This one game doesn't define Jabari's season. He's gotta realize what his limitations are, play within them and play as hard as he can. When he has 3-4 good games in-a-row, Jabari must stick with what works instead of getting out of his limited lane. He's a specialty role player, not a complete player. When he permanently digests that, I think he'll turn the corner and never look back.
He's not a special player worthy of being drafted at #3. What he provides is easily replaceable. You can get from a wide number of vets on a minimum salary to do what he does.
Draft slot makes no difference. He is a 22 year old inconsistent player. He had one of his bad games. His 5 blocks the other night and efficient shooting was terrific. He is a quality starting PF with a bright future which is way more valuable than 10 minimum vets. Such a stupid comment you made.

You do. I judge players on their winning contribution to the team. Jabari is a plus defender, a plus 3 pt shooter, was the 6th best PF rebounder last year and is 22 years old. I really could care less where he was drafted. We got a bargain on his extension. He is much better this year and we are only 8 games in. The team as a whole is going to struggle early until they build synergy. He had his first bad game this year. Last year when he got hurt our defense went to sh*t. TO’s and this ignorant love affair Ime is having with zone defense cost us this game. Nobody really stepped up, especially the coach.
Yep a hook would be very helpful to his game. He fades away a bit too much, but I like the aggression he has playing with before this game, which I consider an outlier.
