Castle 13 assists and +25, with some outstanding defensive plays. Yes, he is the better one.

don’t know what was better - his shooting or the fact he looks like he’s on the Jeremy Peña workout program

That was a frustrating one. Glad Reed got some quality minutes - he hit some big shots and made some gutsy plays but the defense blunders down the stretch were huge and kind of destroyed our ability to pull out a win. To let the same guy get a backdoor cut on you in consecutive plays and then give up an offensive rebound that turned into more points - that was a momentum killer…he was lucky he hit that one three on a fastbreak because had he missed the shot AND and open KD on the break - there would have been hell to pay.

So because his teammates caught fire he looks good?

He was a nonfactor most of the game.

    Outstanding defensive plays? Like what?

Guys, can we make this a Reed thread instead of a Reed vs. Castle spitting match?

I don't give a flip about Castle and him playing good/bad doesn't affect how I feel about Reed.

Really he had one good game, and can't guard anyone but yet he is a franchise player...but yet Jabari Smith is horrible I know what this is...

Coming along nicely. Only 8 games into the season and has already shown visible improvement.

Still plenty to work on, but you play a young player based on what they can/will be not what they are.

First game all season where the team had better results with him on the floor than the starters.

Great 1H, but it was fool’s gold. Didn’t put his body on anyone to box out. When you’re small, at least box out.

nonfactor? Dude was the main reason they close the gap from 39-50 to 51-50 in the second quarter. Dude has two very vital offensive rebounds to create second chance pts in the second half. 6 pts, 3 rebounds and 7 assists in the 4th quarter when it matters the most. Are we watching the same game?

I'm going to overlook everything until he consistently gets aggressive and makes teams pay for leaving him open or not running out on him. He used to hesitate or not even shoot the ball in those situations. Above all else, I'm glad he's letting the shots fly now (more often than not).

No one put their body on anybody all night. They had 56 second chance points. Reed was responsible for maybe 6 of those points. Zone defense is the issue with defensive rebounding. Other teams are exposing how bad it is every game and still Ime runs it out. I don’t get it. Maybe that’s his way of resting Durant without actually sitting him on the bench, which he should have done a lot tonight given what a horrible game he played. Durant’s passing has been horrible ever since he joined the Rockets. Some I think can be excused by the team having such a short time together, but I counted at least 5 really stupid passes just from KD. Amen has got to change his mindset into a scorer. Once he does that the passing will improve. He threw about as many stupid passes as Durant.
