He's been forcing some really tough shots and IMO he's been waiting too long with the ball that by the time the other team inevitably sends the double team, he doesn't have enough time to make a play and/or he gets so overwhelmed by the double that he turns the ball over.
not you saying this after typing this im on record saying i would have rather watched Jalen Green trash hoops and Brooks chucking and defense
BTW...I want to own this...they were 12/26 with 6:36 left in the 3rd. They ended 18/45...so that was 6/19 after that. Bari (27 mins) had a bad game but, he had 8 rebounds and didn't play the 4th qtr. Sengun(36 mins) ended up with 9 and Adams had 8 (in only 20 mins). As subpar as Bari was, surely his potential rebounds should have meant something.
I think the Spurs are really good - and can be dynasty good with some luck. Having said that, the Rockets could have won this game. The Rockets are not used to scoring like this - we will see the defense tighten up… very encouraged by Sheppard tonight.
We've been winning against bad/injured teams. All our losses are against actual playoff teams, that's not a good sign.
I feel like he should have been angrier at some of these rebounds man, I even saw Steven Adams of all players flat footed on rebounds. At some point I'm taking dudes out, I'm putting in Tate, I'm telling these MFers to box out. The second the ball is in the air just put your arms out and take up space. They were letting players fly into the paint from the perimeter get rebounds. IDK maybe those SA women got something on the team, they didn't seem to be mentally into this game.
It's early in the season, the Rockets are still learning how to play together and they aren't very well coached. They have been winning on overwhelming talent alone.
This is where Fred is really missed cause he would have been the other shooter we needed cause Amen wasn’t been guarded at all past the free throw line
yeah i know! reed played great. I blame KD and Ime the most. KD with 8 TO's this is crazy! cant pass out of a double.. KD supposed to be the alpha! Ime playing a 2-3 zone that got decimated over and over and over! This was not on reed at all
That's because bad teams struggle against a zone and good teams with good coaches tear zones apart in the NBA
I watched a few Suns games last season, and they didn’t really have a point guard either, it was mostly Booker and sometimes KD as the playmaker in the clutch. KD would always make a few inexplicable TOs, but usually would make them back in terms of scoring and drawing fouls. It is what it is, this roster is similar in that it needs KD to do a little too much creation for others at times. FVV would’ve helped, but we don’t have him. It is what it is, I think we’ll adapt as the season goes on
Eh, Spurs can beat anyone on any given night, they are not the Wizards. I feel like the fraud takes only come out during the playoffs, the Cavs are currently in that role where no one takes them seriously because of their playoff performances.
I think all the games, they go to zone when Reeds in the game or the double big. Maybe it's because it's the rotation, because he comes in with Steven Adams. I think the a couple times they tried to go man with him on the court they hunted him out. So he was immediately pulled. He had it going offensively though.
