Wemby has no chance at not getting pushed off the ball if Alp decides to muscle through him. His length can offset being pushed around, but stronger thick bodied players move him easily
That game was 2 seasons ago when the inside touch was better and overall he was shooting better. I also disagree that his shot is better than it as then. Better than last year? A little bit. But his shot 2 seasons ago was also better than last year. Finally, Wemby is stronger. Sengun muscled through him a lot that games. Have you seen Sengun’s stats against him in the other games?
A hater alt account posting exclusively (literally every post) about sengun. And his last hope is Wemby of the Spurs dominating Sengun. Pathetic! @rocketschamp is that you? or hlm?
Yup. Called this clown out in February. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...ranchise-player.318379/page-975#post-15622999
Thanks for helping people to update their ignore list. I remember reading this ''compilation of hate'' but didn't take the necessary action until now.
That the best you can come up with? An “alt account”/ “hater” BS because I said he’s a very good player, even became a good defender, but his shooting limits him from greatness? Argue the points, salak, instead of getting personal. You want to disbelieve that I’m half Turkish (family from Izmit) and root for Turkish basketball players, Turkish soccer, women’s volleyball, even swimmers …that’s your prerogative. I can root for them to get better but still call it like I see it. As opposed to those of you who still have his semen dripping from your mouths as he airballs a 10 footer or misses a contested jumper by 3 feet.
If Victor can handle Alpi, this game will be very difficult because the Spurs can then load up on KD more than any opponent the Rockets have played. He won't do anything close to "going off for whatever wants". It will be on Amen, Jabari, Tari and everyone else to step up and capitalize on their opportunities. It will also be on KD to react quicker to double teams before being trapped by two defenders.
I have a lot less belief that the Spurs can shut down KD than you do tbh. Especially if they're double teaming him because then it genuinely will just be open shots all night for Amen and Bari and that's an easy win.
I have no doubt they will swarm KD just like the Mavs and Grizzlies did. It's on Amen, Jabari, Tari and others to prove that is a flawed strategy.
Am I wrong about Sengun’s shooting? At what point is it not an aberration but rather who he is? After working with his coach over the summer he improved but he’s reverting to his mean again. It’s not natural for him. Tonight is an example of why he cannot take over a game scoring (with rare exceptions) due to his shooting limitations.
He was pretty pissed off at the teammates, and for the good reasons. There are multiple posessions where he stopped Wemby but the team is unable to get the rebound. Offense lacks movement and structure. Spurs clearly playing small ball when Wemby is out, force it with Sengun. Wemby had 5 fouls, attack him. But no... This loss is completely on Ime...
That is true. But man, i can't NOT get mad at Reed. Those 2 traffic cone like slips in defence, in the late 4th quarter, were momentum killers.
