But that's not what you said. Or, at least, not the part of what you said that I replied to. You said Jalen struggled but folks kept supporting him. And I gave you the context which explained both 1) the support despite the struggles and 2) how the situation instantly changed as soon as something was on the line. I mean I'm not 16. I give not a single crap about W's in November. I'm looking ahead to May and June. That's fine if you're not. Not sure who needs to chill out. Here let me say it in a chill way. Jalen sucked. Fans supported him cuz sucking didn't hurt the franchise. Reed sucks. Fans aren't as tolerant b/c sucking now may definitely hurt the franchise. GG's?
Reed isn't hurting this franchise as a non-starter. I'm not all doom and gloom about him like you are though. I think he's going to get better and better as the season goes on. Honestly, I think if If Jalen the ball hog had been traded before last year we would have been better offensively.
Reed doesn’t suck. Reed is an unknown. Jalen had played more minutes by January of 2021 than Reed so far. No one said Jalen sucked at that point. You have to give young players time.
Reed lovers, you get to celebrate and crow for a couple of days. Very impressive showing. Gives us an idea of what he can do. One of the things that stands out is closing the 3rd quarter, he played like a PG should and set up 3 guys for 3 makes that closed the deficit to 4. I know it was the zone, but he made two giant mistakes late in the 4th when the game was in doubt that led to a dunk and an uncontested corner 3 on consecutive possessions. Alpi screamed. I'm encouraged. Hopefully his ratio of very good games to bad ones will increase and he'll get more 4th quarter playing time. One thing in his favor that opened the door was Jabari being [xxxxxxx] and Reed took full advantage of his opportunity. Props to him. Moar of this!
Castle is ass. That’s the guy ROCKETS fans are glazing? “But but but 14-13-6! Must not be too bad! And his team got the W!”
The dude made a post where he didn't believe a stat because he average this years number with last years numbers. 82 games vs 6 games. He thought somehow the 6 games were the same weight as 82. So analysis is beyond his capabilities. He's not worth arguing with.
Still has a long way to go on defense...but I am glad he showed lots of confidence tonight and did pretty good on offense.
Reed showed tonight why hes just a better talent than Castle. Castle looks like he has to work 4x harder than Reed to produce points. Has more to learn but did great tonight. Honestly it was everyone else who disappointed. Reed was the actual *lone* bright spot today. Hopefully this leads to more rope from Ime. He's up to 45% from 3 on the season. He is a stupid good shooter.
Fair play, great game from Reed tonight. No complaints from me, some of his teammates could've helped more though.
