But I was told the offense has no flow and Brickari and Reed were destroying the team!

    Also number 1 in rebounds!

Gone are the days of 6’6” centers and power forwards!

That was true when we started the double big and went 0-2....not anymore.

If Ime Udoka was a normal person who played a normal lineup, this team should be 6-1 if not 7-0 right now. The adjustment he made to go from 0-2 to 5-0 since is just "actually starting a normal lineup with a center, 2 forwards, and 2 guards." You don't get credit for doing something stupid and then go back to doing something that has proven to work in the NBA for the past half a century.

Thank the basketball heavens for Ime Udoka! He gets all the credit for turning the ship around!

That dude always resorts to BS deflection and ad hominem when he can't form a coherent argument.

However I would also point out the reason we are winning isnt that Ime went away from the double big, its that Josh Okogie who currently has 74% TS while being elite defensively became a starter and Tari snapped out from his funk.

The double big of Adams and Sengun was fine. Okogie is just better. We only lost by a combined 5 pts that margin was enough to make a difference.

I wasn't showing you anything or had any meaning behind it other than posting funny gifs of old Rockets coaches. I apoligize for filling phone/computer screen up.

I love it - but this early in the season this really doesnt say much. We should wait until 30 games or so have been played before taking this stat too serious. Still the team passes the eye test and it is still finding its groove. Lets see how we look when some of our guys that have been shooting way better than their career average cool down a bit.

The test usually comes when teams have adversity and injuries, Thunder did that with multiple injuries and team not shooting well.

    Horrible take

Okogie is over achieving at the moment and will eventually come down to earth

Finney Smith a much better player and with him healthy, we don't have to play Tate whose shot is completely broken right now

Jabari has missed a game. We know Eason won't play all 82 nor Durant. DFS will be huge on those nights

Of course DD is wrong - what else is new. But in what world is Tari’s shot “completely broken right now”? He’s shooting over 50% from the floor and 56% from 3! His TS is .660. If that is broken, I can’t wait to see it fixed!

We are relying more on player talent than coaching as that starts to balance out our squad will come back to earth. Watching the player’s playing time will become a huge factor as the season progresses. KD is great only when healthy. Fast starts are just that the start of the whole season.

Ah, right. Well, I think Fred was asked to defer to Jalen as much as possible to build him up because when the season was on the line during the playoffs, in large part due to Jalen's terrible performance, Fred turned it on, told Jalen to hold his beer, and the rockets started winning games.

There's a few bumps coming, but we've performed as a title contender should against an easy schedule. You don't know that's valuable till you've experienced good teams that give away easy games sometimes.
