Great game for Jalen. I believe he will do well this year. Unfortunately we are in win now mode and got an all time great player to take us over the top.

he could easily be better than SGA.

Issue is his attitude, mentality. Too imature and mentally fragile.

    I wish him the best

Jalen has always and will always be excellent with average or better spacing lineup. It's abnormal to play your scoring wing with 2 non-shooters and we have already ditched that ourselves now. Amen could not be a lead guard with 2 non-shooters on the floor either (him and Adams). Some don't understand this which is why they thought we'd crush it our first two games this season with double bigs.

The Suns have Nash consulting on the offense and Ott is an Suns' MDA fan. They have a vertical spacer at the 5 and shooters all around. God made it just perfect because they also don't have a traditional PG which is going to mimic our current Rockets situation (what would Jalen look like next to Amen plus good spacing?). They're not going to be a very good team but the Suns offense will be interesting.

Let's see if Jalen's ceiling is borderline starter and whether they would be better off just dumping his contract (lol). Or whether he was unfairly starting over Cam for that matter (LOL).

We got KD yet some people act like they were validated by the trade. If Jalen improves and - god forbid - we don't win a title soon, we will have lost this trade. Brooks' jumper is not regressing, Green is not stagnating and Maluach will be one of the best rim protectors in the NBA (my comp is more agile Gobert-lite).

Thankfully I believe we have what we need to win it all and I absolutely love our roster so all of this hopefully becomes irrelevant. Acquiring the guy who's chasing Michael Jordan for points can relieve a lot of issues. :D

On whether he's seen that kind of spacing in Houston before, Jalen replied (3:23 in the video):

I know KD has never had the rep of a leader in his career, and he's certainly never come across to me as one either.

However I've been impressed with what I've seen from him in that regard so far. He not Washington crossing the Delaware, but it certainly feels like he's taken an active role in trying to prop up the team around him, Jabari and Reed in particular.

Irritated we sent Dillon to the Suns. Not that I wanted him to stay in Houston but he injected exactly what was needed in that locker room and team. That fanbase loves him. Said this is the toughest Phoenix team the can remember since the 90’s.

he’s their xfactor. I need him to be Memphis Dillon over there and tank that team. I still have high hopes for their last remaining picks we own

Dillon leaving is a huge reason why our defense went from 3rd to 12th.

And why our offense went from 19th to 1st.

To be fair, the latter is more about what we got than what we gave up. Dillon was surprisingly pretty good on offense as far as roleplayers go.

I do miss all that he got up to though now that he's gone. He was a huge part of our defensive identity

Yeah I like the toughness identity we had. Though it felt like GSW undressed that in the postseason.

Now that we have cut back on the stupid 2 bigs lineup and zone we will make up the 3 points between 10th ranking and 2 ranking. I liked Dillon and think he was a good defensive player and a decent 3 points shooter. He is not even close to the reason our defense is worse after 10 games. Eliminate the 2 OT game our defense is giving up 110 points per game which would put us in the top 5.

Its both. All of Dillon/FVV/Jalen/Cam were the type of players that you could coerce to put up a shot. A lot of our inefficiency had to do with those 4 guys.

Said it since he got injured but FVV trick people man. He called his own shot waaaay more than people think and because he had low TOs and high assists they think he was a team player. Fred's a weird player. KD is a completely different beast and way more in line with what this team actually needed.

The 2 Big gives us the dominance on rebounds which is a big part of the team success. Having the 2 bigs is the key vs OKC as they only have Chet and Hartenstein.

The 3 games Rox lost they lost on the boards or didnt really have a reb edge vs OKC, Pistons and Spurs.

We got the best version of Dillon due to Ime keeping him checked. He is loose cannon and there will be a games he start throwing and who know he might revert back to Memphis Dillon. So far Suns are happy because they basically had easiest schedule but next 11 games more likely to pick up +8 loss which will make them 11-13
