Right, Austin Reaves only looks like a super star on the lakers. I’ve never seen a scrub get such a nice whistle. Dude shot like 15 more free throws than the entire timberwolves team to get his 50.

and people on this board trying to get him to Houston. Man he ain’t getting those calls here. Jalen green would be a super star in LA with that whistle,

Anybody remember these? I'd buy these from the snack bar at Chancellor Elementary

He wouldn’t get the calls here, but he would be by far the best guard we have coming off the bench. He would be a rental, however and I don’t see LA giving him up for a reasonable price. He is going to command a minimum of 30M/year next year and no way we could pay it. I’m not giving up any of our valuable Phoenix, NJ, or Dallas picks for a half a year of Reeves. We should all be praying that Reed makes a huge jump in the next month. I’d hate to blow up our future roster when all we need to be big time championship contenders is an adequate (not great) backup guard.

The team was so use to winning with Jalen shooting much worse that even a bad Durant game is better.

People forgetting how inconsistent Jalen/Jabari/Sengun were from three last year. They were all shooting sub 35% at one point and we also had Amen out there shooting sub 20%.

No wonder the offense looks better when we got actual shooters and Sengun/Jabari developing another year.

Teams try to double KD and Sengun. It's leading to more open looks from 3, probably.

Complaint? Number 1 in offense, number 5 in defense.

    Just enjoy the ride.

Jalen Green failed as a #1 go to option because hes a high volume, low efficiency player. A few more free throws per game wouldn’t change that.

He got fouled a lot on the perimeter if he got free throws instead of bricks he’d be a star is what I’m saying. He woulda shot 15 plus free throws on the lakers and his efficiency woulda sky rocketed.

Hyperbole already weakens your extremely flimsy premise.

15+ free throws? Come on. The difference in playing for Houston or LA is not 10 free throws per game. It’s not even 5 per game.

Unless you have some kind of concrete evidence that Jalen was the victim of an extremely unfair whistle as a Rocket than all you really are going on is the eye ball test from someone with Rockets Red tinted glasses.

With a slightly more favorable whistle….MAYBE his efficiency bumps up from bad to league average-ish, but that still wouldn’t make him a superstar. He just wasn’t a very smart decision maker when it came to shot attempts and it wasn’t just because he was frustrated by not getting the calls he thought he deserved.

Jalen hated contact and physicality and avoided them like the plague. This was one of his biggest flaws, right behind being a poor shooter, bad shot selection and weak handles.

lol what premise the fact that you read my post and couldn’t tell it was a joke and felt the need to poke holes in it is hilarious. Jalen green sucks, trust me I know. It was a sarcastic comment about how friendly the whistle the California teams get.

And most importantly thReed Sheppard hasn’t begun to peak yet either lol just imagine when his shot becomes an actual threat and he starts making many a game.

Both Amen/Alpe flirting with triple doubles like every game. That's insane offense and we're not even talking about Kevin Durant, or how Jabari has stepped into his role smooth af. You could have DaDakota out there playing 5 and it would still be an effective offense.

If you look at the hierarchy of last year vs this year... It was something like Jalen/Sengun, Fred/Dillon, Jabari. Now you have Sengun clearly the lynchpin, Amen/KD as the next tier and Jabari 4th. Essentially having replaced Jalen with KD's crazy efficiency and Fred with Amen's also crazy efficiency. And Jabari with Dillon's looks is also becoming crazy efficient. It's just raining buckets now, and a stark difference from raining bricks.

Can't double both. Play straight up and they'll just eat matchups.

Me and my son sat court-side next to Mike Miller and T Morant last season. T Morant is ruthless on the sidelines, even towards his sons teammates. He has the biggest mouth on him. He was good entertainment and got my son a free t shirt even though we were dressed in rockets jerseys haha. ahh that was a good day.

Durant is right though Ja looks like he has checked out and doesn't want to be there. He was so passive and didn't look like he wanted to risk his body in case of injury.
