Just finished watching the Mavs game. How much do I love this guy. So solid, especially in the last 2 minutes. Two monster rebounds over much bigger men, plus making all the right decisions, plus teaming up with Amen to kill that last inbounds play. The part where Josh momentarily darted away from the inbounder to cut off the top of the key — that's him reading the off-ball screens behind him. The defensive awareness and IQ on this guy is stellar.
I think his knock has been shooting Just hit your wide open 3s and he’ll continue to be amazing, and will also make untold millions in the off season
He missed couple of threes early in the game, then started passing up open shots. These three shots are so wide open he had no choice but to take them I guess. And there we go. Let it fly, Josh. Let it fly!
People say hes gonna regress in shooting percentage but these are literally WIDE OPEN THREES. I feel like lots of nba players have lower averages because their threes are contested. Ime probably locks Josh, Sengun and Amen in the gym and forces them to shoot hundreds of threes. Also love how Hype KD is for his teammates. He loves it here
lol you’re not wrong. Check out Okogie’s shooting chart: Basically, Okogie isn’t shooting an 3 unless he’s wide open. But there is discipline in that, and I do think the ability to hit open 3s shouldn’t be discounted.
He's our Lu Dort. Lock him up for years please, although I'm scared he's played himself out of our pay range.
Okogie has been just as important as Adams in terms of our success. Outside of that one game he has been shooting lights out while hitting his 3s. He def takes the sting out of missing out on Cedric Coward, my pick for the 10th pick. I think its gonna be a big problem next year can we even keep Okogie? Need some cap experts to weigh in. We do have his bird rights but I think being a minimum guys theres a max amount we can offer him right?
Beautiful. Josh has really bought into the system. He was probably shooting worse on those PHX teams because their offense was just isolation booker or KD.
