My gripe is not that he is short or defensively challenged but that he is such a slow guy for being 21 yr old...... You know he loves basketball but you cannot spot big passion here.
If he keeps playing well and improving, I don't see us trading him this season. It just wouldn't make any sense.

Ime doesn't seem to know what to do with him..... FVV is a different type of player, Reed needs to be with better PG skill people ...like Nash and CP3, he has way better vision already than Fred. DD
I really focused on just watching Reed today when he was on the court. Helps that the Rockets had a decent lead the whole time so wasn't that worried about a loss. Pleased with his offensive performance, but also his defense really needs work. Memphis was getting to the basket a lot more often once he checked and there just wasn't much resistance whenever the man he guards has the ball. Overall more optimistic than pessimistic on him going forward. But the defensive issues are a concern.
Watch quicker guards when they got blown by, they can recover like a Cason Wallace for example. That'd allow them to gamble more on steals.
