Well we are doing it....and winning. All the complaints are not necessary and are exaggerated. Giving him away is just crazy, and for what? In hopes of finding another cheap high motor player like Okogie? Morey got ya'll thinking like it's 2k or something.

No its not exaggerated. If a player isn’t performing well I will point out the fact he isn’t performing well. We lost the OKC game and he had a big part of why we lost that game. Same with Detroit and almost lost the Dallas game. We have beaten lesser teams but in closer games and against better opponents especially in the playoffs we can’t win when he plays like this. Just like any other player in this league he can be traded at any point. Right now he’s a defensive liability and also erratic on offense making losing plays.

Rockets obviously view him as an investment/project that they are taking on for better or worse. You're complaining about miniscule things or even things that haven't happened or won't happen yet. You're literally knocking him for a lost to the champs on ring night at their house. I haven't seen anything erratic about his offense. He takes what is given doesn't try to insert himself where not needed. A few mistakes here and there at his age and experience is very common. When playoffs role around the lineup will tighten up he'll likely won't see the floor, if at all.

What exactly is a losing play? A play that cost the game? I haven't seen him do much of that. Some plays work, some plays don't. I haven't seen one game that I was watching and we lost that I could say Reed Sheppard was the reason we lost.

Obviously you like him and your view is biased as you are saying there’s nothing wrong with how he plays or that he has no deficiencies. A losing play is creating opportunities for the other team to score. A turn over, a wrong read or decision on offense that doesn’t lead to scoring, or not playing within the team concept are losing plays. He committed several losing plays in that OKC game and the other games I mentioned.

Selfishly holding the ball then waiving everyone off taking it to the paint only to miss layups and difficult floaters. Or holding the ball driving with no where to go then passing out with clock running out. Or driving only to be stuck not passing to the right reads such as cutters or corners but to a big 15 ft away with the clock running out. Running to the corner to pullup jumper with a defender 45 degrees tight on you to block the shot with time running out.

Not staying in front of your man but always looking to gamble and steal.

These are all losing plays. these things happened whether or not you see them or admit to them or not. You can have low standards or accept bad play. That’s ok, that’s your reality. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s an erratic player on both ends of the court.

He's ok, I wouldn't say I like him yet. There is such a thing called being objective, in the middle not leaning one way or the other. All those things you described I haven't seen him do to be honest, like waving people off, holding on the the rock too long. Maybe he has but I must have missed it. His steals or ability to was one of the main reasons they got him. Any time you attempt a steal its a gamble.

I think it has been a wild draft sequence......all those players have their strengths and weaknesses but all those players are so different.

You cannot see a handwriting on it......they could not be more different.

From Jalen Green, Sengün, Tari, Jabari, Whitmore, Amen to Reed Sheppard.......wild.

Probably missing a Wemby, Derik Queen, Yang Hansen ......while I think the Spurs drafted defensive freaks .....there is a distinct direction of what their prospects are and you can learn to be disciplined like that.
