I'm good with picking up at least two of those guys so long as they can pass and run block and recognize stunts.

The thing about OL is that it seems to take them a season to figure it out before they're any good. But I guess it's the necessary step.

Mauigoa just might be the best OT *and* OG in the draft. He's a beast.

I doesn’t think we will suck enough to draft him.

This would be a great pick. Huge dude that's really athletic.. draft the best OG and TE in rd 2 and we'll see a much better offense. If a RB like Singleton falls he would be my pick in rd. 2.

What about Justice Haynes isn’t he similar to Achane?

Olaivavega Ioane from Penn State is considered the best guard (so far) that will be available for the 2026 NFL Draft. I would hope that adding Proctor and Ioane are at the top of the Texans' list.

Man if they drafted Proctor and traded back into the bottom of the 1st for Ioane, then signed the best fa center and drafted a TE like Delp I would be so happy. People movers is what this offense is missing.

they have two 2nd so they need a center also if they don’t find a vet in free agency

My plan would look something like this

I'm thinking I would try to solve the TE issue by signing Njoku.

I would try to solve the center issue with one of Connor McGovern/Cade Mays/Ethan Pocic.

Draft a OT like Fano/Proctor etc... and trade back into the 1st rd for Ioane.

I think the domino effect of Proctor pushing either Howard or Ersery to LG would be enough to make this line slightly above average. Stover and Lachey project to be okay blockers too.

I would look at OG, RB, & TE too but do think you use 4 or 5 picks to retool the defense (LB & DT specifically)

    I really like Ioane too.

The reason I hope they stack the offense is they need to find out if CJ's the guy.

The defense has been really good but they really miss Fukasi

Here's my approach. Use the first two picks to get the best OL that we can find. Then let's grab a quality coverage LB to hopefully replace TooToo. Then let's get a good running back. Then let's get some depth at safety and CB and let's take some shots at a couple of less heralded OL from good programs and hope we find a gem.

P.S. Disregard PFF's grades here, which are based on who their computer thinks should be picked. I know our team and our needs better than their computer!

Exactly, beef up the line and TE and let's see if CJ is the guy we "think" he can be....but man we have to act quickly and be ready to roll on day 1 in 2026.........personally I kind of fell like this year is over, it's kind of fool's gold at this point but we`ll see what happens

I like the approach to take OL with the first two picks (hell I'd like to see a trade up to Ioane in the back half of the 1st round or at the top of the 2nd round). Unfortunately, I do not trust Caserio's evaluation of OL, as he has pretty much whiffed on every pick at OL he has taken during his tenure.

And while I understand that there is a certain level of confidence that a GM of an NFL team should have, Caserio definitely is way too arrogant, as he doesn't believe in drafting for need, but drafting the best players and letting the coaching staff figure it out. Well that hasn't worked out that great seeing as how in this previous draft, two WRs were taken in the first couple of rounds and are hardly getting playing time from an OC who is in over his head, but maintains the "Patriot Way" of not playing rookies.

It's a damn shame that this team with arguably the best defense in the NFL this year, and one of the best this team has ever had, will not make the playoffs. If that is not an indictment on the poor communication and ultimately the poor job that the GM has done, I don't know what else will.

For our current situation, drafting 2 linemen with the first 2 picks is just as insane as drafting no linemen with the first 3 picks .

The Center is just as important as the LT. They're the engine of the line. He can't be ranked 30th in everything. He has to be experienced.
They'll have around 35 million to spend in free agency when it's all said and done. Crucial to splurge on one or trade with the Raiders for theirs.

The Left Guard will be the vacant spot when Tomlinson leaves, good riddance. I like the option a poster suggested of drafting the top tackle and putting Howard back at guard.

Team would have a .600+ winning percentage this season if the LG and Center could push for 1 yard, average line play. But people love to argue about other things.

    Proctor with the 13th pick?

I could be sold on it.
