On New Years Eve in 2009, my gf and I just had dinner at the Aquarium in downtown. As we were leaving, I looked to the left at the waiting couches and saw Scola with his wife and toddler. I shook his hand and asked how the new year's eve game went, asked if he got his double double. He was very humble about it. And around 2014, gf and I were at Trader Joes on Shepherd. Saw Kevin McHale in an aisle alone. Said "hi, coach" and waved. He waved back.
A friend of mine is friends with JVG. Before he moved away from Houston, he invited me out to dinner with just the 3 of us and our wives. I ended up not being able to go because...oh, what was the reason.....oh yeah, my wife went into labor.

I saw Matt Bullard at the Tom Keifer concert at the Concert Pub on 1960 when it was still open it had to be around 2013.
