The Rockets Coach forced him in the Low Post which made him have more injuries. Ralph Sampson shoulve shot more midrange and 3 point shots easily.

Ralph Sampson would've been the Point Center easily.

Victor should've asked training advice from Ralph Sampson instead of Hakeem Olajuwon. Makes way more sense in his Game.

Yeah the fact that we saw this after five games is mind blowing to me. I was hunkered down ready to endure weeks of clunkiness.

Ime's first two years, it took 2-3 games then the team turned a corner. This year looks like a repeat.

    Okogie over Adams unlocked it.

In the Playoff series, 3 games probably means a death sentence with the Slim Reaper.

OK so the offense looks much better in our last three games, but let’s not forget that these games included -
    1. One of the worst teams this season (Nets)
    2. One of the worst defensive teams this season (Raptors). And -
    3. 2nd day of b2b medium-level opponent (Celtics).

The next 4 games (home vs. Mavs, then a trip to Memphis, SA and Mill.) will be a more suitable test.
I do have to give our offense the credit for cruising through these 3 wins. We didn’t have to battle in any of them thanks for a much more efficient scoring.

Last night's offense was clunky. They did well to limit the double-big, but they still need to incorporate more time for the guards. Letting Sengun and Durant run the offense from the top of the key is unsustainable - 38 minutes for KD last night.

I would like to see less Okogie (25 minutes last night with a +/- of 0) and more Reed (17 minutes last night with a +5). Reed is obviously still a project, but he really moves the ball and his gravity creates more space for everyone else to operate.

I would like to see more Holiday too for the purpose of stretching the floor.

I have no idea why Tate is out there. Why wouldn't you play Jeff Green if Bari is out?

This right here is what I don’t think all the Reed haters see when he’s on the court. The space he creates to allow KD and Sengun to operate really opens up our offense. Yes he gets hunted on defense and yes a lot of times he looks like a deer lost in headlights, but he makes an impact just by being out there. He may have got scored on but we basically scored at will when he was out there too hence the +5 for the game. If Reed ever becomes more confident we could unlock the best offensive team in Rockets history.

At least yesterday he stopped doing ole defense and was more physical. So a step in right direction

The offense has no flow but the Rockets are leading the league in point differential.

    Never change clutch fans.

Spend all of last year hearing from "real Rockets fans" that you can't criticize a team that's the 2nd seed. Then they went out and lost to the 7th seed putting up some of the most pathetic offense I have ever ever seen from a Rockets team in the playoffs. This is not the KD Warriors or the 2nd 3peat Bulls. There are plenty of flaws even if you won't allow yourself to see them.

I’ve said it before, but Bari is a much bigger part of our offensive flow than people give him credit. His spacing, size, and defensive versatility really is the missing piece in the Sengun - Amen - Durant - Okogie lineup. As much as I love Tari, he is a better fit as a sixth man.

I don't think he's being coached correctly. I think he's getting the typical "stay confident, stay aggressive" message, when he should be told to setup others and stay ready for return passes on the perimeter. That's how he plays best right now. He doesn't have the size, speed, or strength to finish in the paint.

Right we need a lot more motion in our offense. Reed should be non stop running around screens like Curry. It would add a whole new wrinkle to our offense.

I don't know what yall are talking about, we looked great even in game 1 aside from some boneheaded plays (especially perpetrated by Eason). For christ's sake, we nearly beat the currently undefeated reigning champions on their home floor. I was amazed with our PG-less offense out of the gates, and thought Ime looked like he'd done a masterful job loosening the reigns just enough.

I didn't see the Detroit game, but the Pistons are a good team, and that was another close loss. So I'm doubtful it was all that bad, either.

Why cherry pick BPM for just a single game

Amen got in early foul trouble and really had a bad game. We are going to struggle in any game he or Sengun are off. They are the engine that makes this team run. Durant is the clutch player that can get you that hoop when others are struggling or down the stretch in tight games. Amen and Sengun are still young and will have their share of blunders under pressure, especially early in the season. They are splitting the initiator role about 50/50 and are adjusting to their new roles. By mid-year, barring injury or Ime regressing, this offense is going to be on OKC or Boston from 2 years ago level.
