Don't confuse me with OP. That idiot doesn't know what he's talking about. **** him.

Stroud is my QB. He is doing what he can with what he's been given this season - Caley, shitty OL, no WRs, etc. I'm backing him 1,000%

The slot says league average, he’s on the lower end of the slot for league average. Behind Herbert, Purdy, Dart and others

Has obviously one of the worst offensive supporting cast in the league and is on par with guys who have some of the best situations.

    Yeah,

    lets move on lmfao.

Are you willing to pay CJ 60 mil per year and wreck your cap this offseason to keep your QB after the last 2 years of suckage?

At this point No, BUT I would pick up the 5th year option and see how he does. IMO guys like Trevor L, Jordan Love, Jalen Hurts doint deserve it either...........on the flip side, getting a franchise QB is so freakin hard which is why some teams overpay. I love CJ and we need to get a decent O Line for him first, he`s shown what he can do if he has time. Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen aint walking through the door anytime soon

This is what I would do, but I would still keep swinging trying to draft one of the guys you listed instead of paying any QB 60 mil and wrecking the cap in the process. The most important thing is having a QB on his rookie deal. This gives an org approximately a 7 year window to win a championship. If they give CJ 60 mil per year then I hope they structure the deal where they can get out from under the deal in 3-4 years.

I agree with all of this except wrs. Texans have weapons at wr but Caley is clueless how to use them.

Yes. He is a franchise QB.

    1) Solidify that OL through FA and the draft. Outside of Ersery, the rest can **** themselves.
    2) Dell will be back. Nico, Dell, and the Iowa State Boys.....we're set at WR.
    3) Get a better TE than Schultz.

Once the above is done, we'll see 2023 Stroud again.

    1. We've gotta disagree about whether he's going to be a top 5 QB. These are the guys I consider to be true franchise QB's and those are the only guys I would pay 60 mil per year for. (Just my philosophy when it comes to paying QB's.)

    2. I like the OT's and would probably draft another OT and move Howard to RG then draft another OL. I like Ioane as a LG and and would trade for Jackson Powers Johnson to play the center position.

    3. I dont think there's a chance Dell makes it back and even if he does he probably will be a shell of his former self. I dont think they think Dell will make it back either with the way they drafted last yr.

    4. Agreed about Scultz, I'm hoping they draft a TE high (Sadiq, or Delp) in the draft and bring in a blocking TE on the cheap in next yrs FA. In addition to Stover coming back. This would take a weakness and make it a strength.

    1. I really think this kid is talented and with the right personnel to protect and help him, he will be the QB for years to come. I'm not going to give up on him.

If you don't feel like Stroud is the QB for this franchise, who should it be?

    2. I agree with kicking Howard to RG.
Andrews is garbage at C. I really thought Patterson would repeat his season from last year, but he's been sucking it up.
Anyone we put at LG has been horrible. Tomlinson and the backups are crap along with the swings who try to adjust to the position.
Fisher and Scruggs are turning out to be busts.
I would get an RT and C in FA/Draft to match Ersery's talent. Cut everyone else.

    3. I guess with Dell it's a "wait and see" approach. If he does back and is at least 80% of what he was, then we're good at WR.
