    He's likely moping.

It says something that he can't get minutes on a tanking team, this is a good situation for him because a normal prospect is going to get a ton of minutes for a bad team and develop. The fact he can barely get 15 mins means the team, the tanking Wizards, just don't see much in him to invest the minutes in him.

Because if a team does beleive in the potential of a player, they will just play him those minutes. They are tanking any ways, so even if he plays 30 mins and sucks what does it matter? I mean we just went through this, if a team believes in a player they will excuse the mistakes. We're seeing this with Reed now. The org still has some belief in him otherwise they'd glue him to the bench and play Holiday...but they still clearly think that giving him playing time will be worth it in the end.

I think dude is closer to being out of the league than he realizes for that reason alone. If a tanking team is giving up on him, the next team will be one that is just taking a flyer on him and having him as an end of the bench filler.

Man, I remember when many here were debating between him and Amen...had we taken him instead of Amen would have really set us back, we'd still be tanking now.

That and the fact he'd be completely useless on this team other than being a selfish jerk of a distraction.

Cam thinks that Cam should be a superstar, and he could be right, but unfortunately it's pretty obvious at this point that he is the thing holding himself back. He needs to fix himself, because nobody else can do that.

On the bright side, with Cam flopping we can totally bring him back in free agency.

What makes you think he'll improve? He's literally regressing in almost every category.

If he flops, that means he’s the same player that we let go, or even worse. Why would you bring him back? I wouldn’t want to touch a pouting no-defense selfish chucker with a 10 feet pole.

Well it depends if he gets humbled or not. For example Melo once acted like coming off the bench was the ultimate insult but then he turned into a complete team player in Houston and his other stop.

We gave him away for nothing because he is worth nothing. Nobody in the league wants him, including us, because he sucks.

You guys are funny, giving up on an immature 21 year old, give him time, he will be fine.....at this point, it is all on him and all in front of him.

None of what anyone says, matters.

Its funny Cam and Reed the same age but they sre writing Cam off when all he needs is an adjustment change.

Reed can get any taller no matter what he does.

Both players just need time and they will be fine......people are so quick to give up on talent for whatever reason.......they lack perspective and patience.

None of what we say matters but you kept yelling about giving Cam Whitmore away for nothing and how he'd be helpful this year- turns out he's very close to a nothing-level contributor (which is why nobody offered anything for him) regardless of team or situation.

The diff is I think Cam can be a star or close to it if he pans out Reed prob gonna be just another TJ Mcconnell when all is said and done.

If he doesn't work out with the Wizards, maybe we can get him back for cheap.

I'm really starting to think the optimal draft strategy outside the lottery is to go for older, proven college guys who dropped because they're viewed as not having as much upside.

Bagley the Third, 2nd overall pick, is 27 years old, 7 years in the league, still has not carved out a viable role and is only 1 place above Cam Whitmore in the food chain.
