Okogie is a horrendous shooter, he's like 30% for his career

Who cares? He's a horrendous shooter. A random 15 shot streak is COMPLETELY meaningless and irrelevant.

There is no doubt Reed is the weakest link in the top 8. By definition, somebody has to be.

He'll be given plenty of rope for at least the first part of the season to either climb the tree or hang himself.

    Reed was really bad tonight.

I'm giving him until the all star break to figure it out. If he cant figure it out by then I'm trading for a vet PG.

Reed probably is the worst rotation player right now, but he’s not costing you games yet so I guess it doesn’t hurt to roll with him for a while. There’s no doubt he needs to get better though. It’s a luxury to be able to develop him, but he needs to actually show some development. Hopefully he will continue to improve as the season goes on.

He is developing just fine and by the end of the year will be even better.

He wasn't good, but neither was Durant.....it happens.

I thought that Reid was very decent tonight and made some nice passes along with hitting a couple shots. We just need to give him more time.

he is making a lot smarter plays already than green already made.

Thing is Reed would not be picked this much from opponent if we didn’t had great individual defenders all over the line up. He is the one of the few weak link and opponents have to utilize that to the advantage, we’re at the point opponent choosing KD since he is the laterally slowest defender even if he is hard to shoot over.

Reed should really go see NASH and pick his brain about angles, attacking with the ball and keeping the dribble alive.

That is where he could improve the most.....like guys that work with Dream.....Nash would be perfect for Reed.

His shot streak is longer than Reed's.

The difference is Okogie is good even when his shot isnt falling.

I still think he needs to work on defense first and foremost. He needs to be able to stay in front of his man. Right now people blow by him all the time and he tries to block them from behind. He doesn't need to be a lockdown defender, but he needs to be able to hold his own. On offense it would be fine for me if he works on keeping his dribble alive, but other than that just to take what the defense gives him without creating much and hitting his open shots.

Even though Reed got drafted in a different scenario than Green smith and amen, still doesnt make it any less disappointing. If he wasn't pick 3rd, I wouldn't mind his performances cause the expectations would b so much lower.

Still young but dam, stinky performances.

Nash has other problems, for one how to stay a coach in the NBA......and working towards it after the Brooklyn disaster.

1/4 in a close game. Wait till the next sandbag opponent Reed will go 8/12 or w/e and then everyone will beat their chest again how good Reed is.

    Efg% for the season:

    53.4% Sengun
    52.4% Jabari
    52.2% Sheppard
    47.5% Amen

I think we can live with the results so far... yes, his defensive footwork needs coaching. That's Ime's responsibility.
