They even have evidence of Thomas taking mo-money, mo-money, mo-money gifts from those who had cases before the Supreme Court. Basically, to argue before the Supreme Court, you're talking to the four other Federalist Society judges and hoping that Leonard Leo isn't sitting behind them for a change. The Federalist Society will look for any chink in the armor that gives Trump a win. The tariffs ruling might be an exception, but there's always that possible Leonard Leo phone call: "Remember why we put you there. Don't go soft on us."
