Since PIT got Dugger, I might consider Terrell Edmunds who is on PS with Raiders.

But realistically, he & Pitre play the same role.

We need a new safety to assist in coverage.

IMHO I doubt he plays for Texans again... plus Ward has shown to not be the best in deep coverage (anymore)

The NFL is so fickle and unpredictable.

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT the Texans would be 3-4 and WITH VICTORIES OVER BALTIMORE AND SAN FRANCISCO?

They have played the 4th hardest schedule this year.

They still have the hardest remaining.

Unlucky really. They need some help when it comes to injury breaks etc if they want to make the playoffs.

If they can just get in to the playoffs, they will do damage as the team is battle tested.

The bottom 3 in strength of schedule are

    Buffalo, New England, and Indy.

Texans were pro Ward even during his off field issues. They wouldn’t have taken that PR risk if they didn’t value him as a player this year. He is a good backup to Pitre.

When they tell you you have to trade away good players because you have to pay other good players coming…bullshit. (Also: see Eagles)

New England’s schedule seems like it’s the easiest of all time.

I expect some combo of these players on the way out by Tuesday

RB Ogunbowale or Pierce (prolly Pierce)
    WR Barrios
IOL Andrews or Tomlinson (maybe Tomlinson.... prolly not)
    Edge Taylor

Would be sweet to send Pierce, Taylor, + 2026 3rd to MIA for Achane + 2026 5th (maybe 4th since Achane is FA soon)

Edit: also check on Justin Simmons to see if he is NFL shape & conducive to signing

What side is more inept our Offense or the Bengals defense?

It's the age old conundrum of the resistable force meeting the moveable object

I think Brandon Coleman (WSH) could be a good-get for OL.

WSH fans range between a 4th and 3rd day pick in terms of value.

Gotta wonder if last week’s loss and 3-5 record turned Texans from buyers to sellers before today’s trade deadline
