As your silent partner on the NFL team you'll never own, I would've voted yes - but, also: expressed some disappointment if took this long.
It's not difficult to understand what you're saying, it is a bit difficult to take what you're saying seriously.
Prior to the concussion yesterday, it was going to be another 280+ yard performance. Was on pace to finish with 4,000 yards 26 TDs, 10 ints And a rating of 97. With this line, and no rushing attack. That's a miracle. Some of the qbs these guys cheer for had those same numbers in better environments and missed consecutive post seasons. The solution is simple for Nick: Resist the urge to bargain shop at C and LG along with an Ersery leap plus replace the 1988 Buick at Rb. All the assets to get it done. Still believe in Nick.
I still believe in Nick overall, it's no secret he has missed don the O Line and shopping in the bargain bin to protect your franchise QB is HORRIFIC, I will give him another year to try and fix this, whats the option if you fire him? Same with Demeco, you get one more chance................as a Nebraska fan, this so reminds me of the time they hired Scott Frost, hero of an old team coming back to his alma matter to "SAVE" the team and he SUCKED, give me 22 Scott Frost`s but in today`s NIL league, its just not the same. The OC has to go and please get someone who can take 100% control and turn this Offense around.....................hate to say it but well end up just good enough to not have a top 10 pick. Can we keep this D together for another year and add a big interior D Lineman to help the run stop?
The trade deadline is tomorrow (Tuesday, November 4th). This season is done. Is Cal cognizant of this fact? He should be directing Nick to trade some players for draft picks. Danielle Hunter comes to mind. We could get a 1st and maybe more for him while dumping his big contract for next year which we can use in free agency to sign a stud C/IOL.
They probably should, but they won't. Can almost guarantee they are telling themselves that we are "only 2 games out of the wild card" and "winning the next 2 games puts us right back in the thick of it". Then we hit the gauntlet of the schedule. Absolute best case scenario is that we squeak into the wild card round only to be embarrased.
If they don't have an extra year in their contract, I wouldn't touch the trade deadline. The thing is the Texans have only embarrassed themselves against the Seahawks. They would manage to lead the wild card game until they're gifted a goal line situation
We will see who's right. I ask you to checkout CJ's PFF rankings over the last 15 games. Not that PFF is everything.
