If that were true why doesn’t Reed start? Our coach is not about those 1 sided players.

We don't have any playmakers to set him up. The Hawks would use him like a glorified Landry Shamet which i think he's better suited for.

Why didn't Ime start Amen his rookie season before injury forced his hand?

You never base anything on Ime's lineups or rotations, he's clueless when it comes to that part of things

Speaking of Trae, he got a knee injury, at least a month. Putting a damper on start of a Hawks season.

Grizz suspended Ja (1 game). Reason uncited.

These guys are all big buys (contractually / extensions), if Rockets later go after them. I kinda like the squad we have right now and keep building.

Exactly correct. He is right not to start Reed yet. Getting destroyed by the first units would destroy his confidence. He is being brought along slowly and it is boosting his confidence especially with his shot, which is his elite skill set. Let him learn team defense against second units and provide much needed shooting off the bench at least until Okogie proves he is not starter material

I don't think we need to wait till the deadline - time to call up our old friend Daryl & see if we can con him into giving us Paul George for Sengun

I think with all these trade restrictions we're all operatingon the assumption we'll need to do cap maneuvering for most trades. Pretty commonplace to dump a contract with a pick these days. I think Brooklyn still has room to absorb.

Personally I think the way more replaceable player is Adams but yes DFS is also excess after acquiring a PG.

I think Ime put Reed back into to his role he was going to have with FVV. Still plenty of games before the deadline to assess what we truly need.

I won't argue with that idea. The guard rotation of Amen / Okogie / Reed seems to be working just fine.

Imagine if Sengun could start his possession from the elbow instead of the 3 point line. He'd be even better. We don't need a heliocentric Luka or Harden level point guard. Just someone who can give the guys the ball in their spots instead of them having to get there themselves. Like Amen is a serviceable point guard but he's even more deadly off a cut or in the dunker spot. KD and Sengun can dribble and pass ok but they'd be better getting the ball already in their sweet spots.

We have 2 PG chasing triple double means we don't need PG.

Come playoff time they will for sure need a point guard. They Tre Jones would be amazing but isn’t happening.
