Their rules are screwed up on their API, so that the Rocket games are blacked out where they should NEVER be - I am in Austin, we are a Spurs market those games are blacked out, but Amazon has the ROCKET's games blacked out too. I have to link my accounts and watch and NBA.com - where the rules are properly implemented and the Rockets are unlocked. So, just warning you - if you bought it at Amazon like I did, just cancel it and buy direct.....it is an easier experience and the Rockets games are on fine. DD
The only way to stop that is to pause it for a minute or so, and then unpause, should be fine, also, it isn't the app it is your connection. DD
i have no lag issues but past couple years the picture resolution when casting from app to tv is crap. the nbc games are better. rockets broadcast is worst
I just bought it direct and it’s useless blocks out any streaming if I am on vpn and blocks rockets games whether I am in Houston or not
Direct TV? Yeah, I had problems on YouTubeTv last year too....I have reported it to Amazon, but will cancel it there, and buy it on NBA.com directly. DD
I have Amazon LP and have not had any games blacked out… my complaint prior to this season is you can’t rewind live games but they changed that so I’m happy now. Spurs games I’ve always watched with a VPN, but sometimes it’s a little finicky. Usually have to clear cookies/cache and login after VPN is on.
It's crazy to me that for what the NBA charges for League Pass, they could at least have a decent app. For anyone who's patient (which was admittedly easier during the tank years), the price of League Pass gets cut in half sometime around Black Friday
Have watched every Rockets game and multiple others on the tv streaming subscription option from the torrent website I definitely do not utilise. $8 a month. The real kicker. There's no buffering and the video quality is much better than League Pass always was. Absolutely insane NBA.
no I just went to the league pass website and downloaded app and made a login while I was on my VPN and then now every time I try to play it with my VPN on I get error 4-62-7027 " out of country blocked because client is neither in home country nor in content portability region"
If anyone has fallen into that webcast, not a bad site, didnt even know it existed. NBA,NFL,MLB, all free, Somewhat not the best streams but still look ok to me. Free is free. lol
Yep that's what I'm waiting on. It's been trash relying on illegal streams but I'd rather just deal with it for a month
Doesn't league pass break down to under $3 a game though for your favorite team -seems cheap overall. DD
After having paid for League Pass for the season (automatic renew), I logged into the NBA app via Roku on my tv and it keeps asking me for my tv provider. I don't have one that I know of. Never had to do that before - the app would just run and I could select the game. I tried online via NBA.com, too, and the same thing. Somehow it allowed me to link my NBA account to my Amazon Prime account and I'm having to watch through the Amazon app on my tv now. TV watching is getting so convoluted. lol.
