Steven Adams is such a game changer. He’s like a black hole for rebounds. Huge important piece for our team.

He's just not very good at anything yet. He needs to be on a team that doesn't care if they win or lose. His timeline doesn't fit this version of the Rockets.

He may well become a quality starter someday but that's gonna take several years. The Western Conference is a war and Reed Sheppard is not ready for war. I hope we can include him in a trade for an established point guard- Derrick White or Payton Pritchard.

Even though his minutes are high, Durant's usage rate is the lowest of his career i think.

Love the dude. I only want to see double bigs against certain lineups though. When it works, it works incredibly well, but it can be punished pretty heavily too. Steve-O will still get minutes backing up Sengun regardless.

Literally just one guy hating on our 3rd string center, even last game when he scored 8 points on perfect 4/4 in just 13 minutes of playing time I think.

Thanks for the well written, well thought out, carefully observed post. I felt like I just learned a lot about something I saw first hand and didn’t quite get it all.

Clint has been just fine. Already developing nice chemistry with Amen. He's nice insurance/relief for Adams for now, we'll see if he turns into a trade at the deadline.

Even after his 0-4 performance he’s still above 36% from three. Yall acting like he’s been terrible.

He has a HUGE impact. I dislike when people say our double big lineup “lacks spacing” as I watch 2-3 opponents gravitate towards Adams on every single shot (and yet Adams still gets the board). He’s not a shooter so he’ll never create space like Curry, but he has his own way of creating space for guys and using his body as a deterrent. It’s glorious to watch Adams keeping the big man game alive in the modern NBA. He’s the Curry of rebounding when it comes to space creation.

The crazy thing is that Capela is only 31 but moves like he's 37. And yet we have KD who is 37 but moves like he's 31!

KD does not move like he is 31, but he does pretty good for 37. He does take a lot of plays off on the defensive side of the ball. Our defense is bound to regress a bit when you take FVV, Dillon, and an improving Jalen off the team. Fortunately, the regression can be off-set if Okogie is for real and DFS returns healthy and playing well. People concentrate on the turnovers, but FVV’s loss is way more impactful on the defensive side of the ball. The offense will be better without him and especially with Durant instead of Jalen.

Fluke good shooting game. His fg% for the 4 games has been 27%/27%/54%/28%

Y'all would CRUCIFY any of our other draft picks, and did when they had significantly better numbers than that.

He’s been bad from inside the 3 point line. I can’t remember him making much except the first basket last game. But his threes have been good.

Have they though? Fluke 75% is skewing that I'd say. His others are 28/42/0% from 3. Hardly world beating.

This is how a hater would talk. If you are saying one game at 75% is a fluke. Why isn’t his 0% game a fluke? Like there are two sides to it all. Even yesterday he took good shots and looked like they were going in.

Because he shot 37% from 3 in high school and 33% last year. He's currently at 36% for the year, which sounds about right. Why would you be convinced that 75% is the more plausible of his shooting? I'm not a hater, you're a homer, that's your problem.

My guy? Reed will be just fine. The looks he got yesterday were good; he just didn't knock them down.

Reed getting shot at because of his percentages is funny when I was killed for having a go at VanVleet's percentages last season...................

Just quietly, the percentages are not far off each other. You'd better not have been one of the Fred defenders
