Hopefully DFS will reduce Durants minutes.

KD, at 37 years old, with nearly 150 million invested in him over the next 3 years, should be playing around 25 mpg during the regular season on a team with this much wing depth. 6-7 mins a quarter is plenty.

Let the young guys carry the load until the playoffs, for the love of god.

When/if he does come back, whose minutes does he take?

Yes if Naw was available he should have been the guy over DFS, esp with DFS banged up. Grimes we would have to a SnT as Sixers cna just match.

I would give him Tari’s. He is a smarter version with better handles and a more consistent jumper. I would trade Tari at the deadline for Quentin Grimes if at all possible.

    Amen/Reed/Holiday
    DFS/Okogie
    KD/Tari/DFS
    Jabari/Tari/DFS
    Sengun/Adams/Capela

1 through 4 will be positionless when Sengun is in. I do think Okogie gets the start until DFS gets conditioning.

The problem with that is Durant wants his stats. He can’t move up to top 5 all time in scoring if he is playing 25 min.

Yep. He will be a 3&D player for 3 quarters then turn into the closer once the team starts to get better chemistry. He has been getting a ton of wide open 3s recently.

Never seen a player get points like him. I swear he had around 20 points last night but then you look up and he is at 30.

He was one of the best 3 and D players in the entire NBA last season. 41% from 3. Terrific defensive player. He is an elite role player and will help the Rockets win games when he returns.

In the unlikely event that he is washed, his contract becomes salary matching for a guard upgrade.
