While I agree with the first sentence. There are only a few GMs that are opened to deal as frequently as Nick. Every good player that's available Nick has been in da mix. We just opted for the wrong guys because 3 million more for Barkley was just too much.

He might wear nothing but LLBEAN but a boring GM he is not.

Lovie had final say and he sais as much. You dont think Ryans would sign on to be HC if he didn't have final say on the roster?

Look at the FA/draft moves and you tell me who is making the calls?

2024- Hunter/Azziz/Edwards/Fukasi/Settle/Barnett/Ward/Autry etc... in FA, draft Lassiter/Bullock in rds 2-3.

2025- Rankins/Speed/CGJ/Barnett/Smith etc.. Draft Smith Hamilton.

You tell me where the FA big money investments have gone?

This we agree on, but you dont think Ryans told Caserio to do what it took to trade up to pick WA?

I would guess, especially on offense, that DeMeco is leaning heavily on Caserio's input as that side of the ball is, more and more, starting to look like the Patriots, from the staff to their personnel approach.

Yes; it does indeed look like they're ignoring the offense... when you conveniently ignore all of their offensive moves. I mean... you mention the '25 draft but fail to note that their first 3 picks - and 4 of their first 5 - were all offensive players. But, sure.. mention the guys they took in the 6th round, and later, I guess?

Since DeMeco's arrival, they've drafted more offensive players that defensive players, and spent more premium picks on offensive players than defensive players.

Beyond the draft, they traded for Digs, Mixon, Kirk & Ingram; gave Cam Robinson the largest free agent salary for '25, and have signed Chubb, Schultz & Berrios, too.

But, as I mentioned, other than the offensive line, there's no need to invest premium money or picks in offensive personnel when you have a starting QB, RB, two WRs and TE. So, yeah - resources have been thrown at defense where far more guys play.

But to suggest its weighted significantly so as to declare they favor one side over the other is just you living in your own reality.

The McNairs are the problem...always have been. We could/should clean house....completely. Caserio, Ryans, all of them... But, we'll still be stuck with this three ring circus.

Can Hannah play LG? I don't agree with this with all due respect, the McNair's while not perfect, are good owners, all you can ask is they give the team the resources and they have no problem paying anyone, they do great charity work and mingle with the fans. The team has been successful the past 2 years under Ryan, has it been a bumpy year, absolutely but they will not "clean house" at this point in the season. Do I want Nick gone, at times I do, I sure as hell don't want him picking for the O Line but overall if I take my "fan" glasses off and look from a business perspective, he is a solid GM with flaws just like most outside of Howie Roseman, that dude is next level

The McNairs are mostly trusting, patient, generally passive owners. Those are not bad qualities, by any measure.

They've made some monumental mistakes (none bigger than the entire Easterby era) - but, let's be honest: BOB and Ryans were both highly-regarded, "hot" candidates, and they landed both. Don't conflate results with intentions. Most fans and media applauded both decisions.

They spend money; the give their coaches longer ropes; they do a good job of rewarding their own... I would love them being a little more urgent; more hands-on when necessary (is hiring Caley - esp when they were instrumental in brining Wade Phillips here) - but they are, generally, good owners.

LOL they kept Rick Smith around for far too long. They allowed Caserio to hire Culley, they hired Lovie because of the Flores lawsuit, they aided ans a betted a a sexual predator, Hannah let the fan council pick CJ etc... They've started to run their cap more like the Eagles since Caserio has become the GM which is an upgrade over what Bob McNair did for 2 decades so maybe they're improving?

You might want to look at Cary McNair's lawsuit or Hannah's charity work and where the money that's been donated is going. Hint, checkout Kinkaid High School.
