Here is your peace plan @basso

Mind you Bannon in the same day outlined his legal justifications for Trump to never relinquish the Presidency so you have to take every thing he says with salt.

    Ceasefire over.

    • Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to carry out “powerful” attacks in Gaza, his office says.
    • It comes after Netanyahu alleged Hamas committed a “clear violation” of the ceasefire deal. For its part, Gaza’s Government Media Office accused Israel of committing 125 violations of the ceasefire since it came into effect on October 10, including killing 94 Palestinians.
    • The sound of explosions and drones continues across Gaza despite the ceasefire: “It’s just a constant reminder of how fragile this ceasefire is,” Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Gaza City.
    • Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 68,527 people and wounded 170,395 since it began in October 2023. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attacks and about 200 taken captive.

JERUSALEM/CAIRO, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Israeli planes launched strikes in Gaza City on Tuesday after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the militant group Hamas of violating a ceasefire in the Palestinian territory and ordered the military to carry out "powerful attacks".
At least two people were killed and four wounded in a strike on a residential building in the city's Sabra neighborhood, and an area close to Shifa hospital, the largest operational hospital in northern Gaza, was also hit, according to Gaza officials, witnesses and Hamas media.

Is anyone surprised? Bibi gets to end the protests, lob a peace (sic) victory (sic) to his good buddy Donald... and then continue the annihilation. Super depressing.

    About that Nobel Peace Prize...

    The hubris is amazing.

Now we have Steve Bannon talking about Trump wanting THREE separate states -- a Evangelical one, a Jewish one and a Muslim one.....

So we have Trump trying to escalate the situation with Venezuela --- we have Israel and Palestine back at it, and if you believe Steve Bannon, worse than ever........ we have Russia still invading Ukraine, and Ukraine now firing into greater Russia...... we have the NARCO situation spilling into Ecuador and getting pretty damn heated.... India is continue to saber rattle with Pakistan and Myanmar.

Domestically we have economic red flags all over the place, and a very unstable situation when it comes to tariffs and scary growth numbers... a lack of effective checks and balances at the federal level and civil rights issues galore.

What a festering bag of dog **** 2025 has been..... and some are just waiting for something to happen with Russia and China.

Food prices and inflation spiraling - the government is closed, benefit checks won't go out most likely... we are screwing American farmers and ranchers to help farmers and ranchers in Argentina.... but, the 79 year old President has our back, building a dance hall on the Whitehouse and he is promising gas will be $3 a gallon.

I don't know if Trump is senile - of if people are starting to look behind the curtain in Oz at the Wizard --- but this is NOT what I think most none mentally ill people believed Make America Great Again... was all about.

Now I just need federal agents grabbing people in the streets - wait, I am in Chicago and they are doing it.

The justifications are posted above. The response is just wholly disproportionate to the justifications.

But it’s all good, Israel said the cease fire is back in effect. What’s another 100 dead Palestinians?

Fair question. The violation was delays in transferring remains (doubt Hamas will be able to fully recover anything) and an alleged attack on an Israeli patrol in northern Gaza.

And this is playing out when JD Vance and voices in the MAGA world are rightly pointing out that Israel is a protectorate rather than a coequal.

So Netanyahu takes the above and shows America cannot tell Israel what to do.

A proportional response would have been freezing prisoner exchanges or doing nothing additional as the Israeli military are still occupying a significant portion of Gaza.

So a proportionate response to Hamas attacking an Israeli patrol is doing nothing? I prefer the Israeli response.

The Israelis are already doing ground operations. Firing back when shot at would a proportional response.

respectfully, that's a p***y response, and only invites more "being shot at." only when israel has hunted them down and killed them all will the Hamas attacks cease.
