Yes - he has always reminded me of Corey Magette and that is the type of outcome he can have. He is still young, but this is a game that gives a lot of chances. Magette played like a dozen years in the league and made a hundred million dollars and he had blinders on his entire career and his idea of defense was standing still with his arms outstretched while counting to 10 Mississippi.

I told you guys, Whitmore won't be coachable till his mid 20's. He'll be a good player, just needs a lot more time than we had.

Looks like when Coulibaly is back, Cam will find himself on the bench again. Then it's really going to hit him that the NBA doesn't need a Cam Whitmore who can't pass or play defense.

 

Yup, he'll have a moment at some point in the 2030s on a good playoff team but it will be a while

I don’t keep up with the bucks or porter so I don’t even know why he’s only played 1 game. Or why he’s only played 9 min.

But Magette was hyper efficient Whitmore is just a volume scorer at this point.

No they live in Wisconsin, and said he has been great there.

He is their starting PG got hurt in first game rolled his ankle.

Can't jump to conclusions about Cam from a small game sample size. Can't jump to any conclusions on a small sample size. As always, give him the season (meaning until February). He is firmly behind other players and needs to prove himself or his NBA career will end.
