Dear Tari Eason, I have no idea this was your game. Hitting contested 3s like no one business. Please forgive me as you made me eat my words.
22/5/5/1 on 5/7 from long range. If you change the 5/7 from 3 to 3/7, 18/5/5 is about what I thought he might do this season. More like 18/8/2. Lets hope he continues bringing the energy and focus and proves the minority of us were right about him. Ya'll know how much I love Tari but I'm not ready to apologize just yet.
Man... I love it. It would have been nice to see this against OKC opening night. Like a previous poster said... 79 more games to go.
Apology form because he had a decent game against the worst team in the league? He’s got a ways to go before I think he’s worth the 100m+ he wants.
Good game but still want to see him with better shot selection and playing under control for a longer stretch. He can play at a slower pace and get to his spots on offense more carefully. Gambling slightly less on defense. Hope to see him with a better than average 3pt% this season (over 36%).
Love letters are actually Jinx letters. We already knew he had game, just cannot access it enough and also his leg issues are still scary.
Wa good but he wasn’t ecstatic like he used to, he was feeling it good but he wasn’t jumping out of joy
I once picked up a ball and nailed an NBA 3 first try. I thought to myself I can join the NBA, I shoot 100% from 3. Lets wait and see. Tari is about the one player from rebuild that we still aren't sure yet on because of his injuries.
One should not apologize for someone not meeting their expectations. If someone then meets the expectations the response should normal behavior because they are doing normal work. To apologize is taking responsibility of their subpar behaviors as yours. My friend you had nothing to do with his play. Please don’t insult him by enabling him by giving him an out for his own play. He looked horrible and then looked better. Enjoy his play. Hopefully he will do better next game and set a very high standard for himself.
People were ready to trade him after the OKC game and ready to cut him out of the rotation after the Pistons game. To Clutchfans, 1 game does define the season. We will check the temperature again on Wednesday.
If anything, Tari owes the fans an apology for playing so poorly in the first two. We should expect him to play well....especially given that he thinks he's a guy who deserves over 100 million dollars fully guaranteed. He deserves praise for a REALLY awesome game last night, but not apology for those who criticized his first 2 dogshit games. He earned that criticism just like he's earned praise for last night.
