Stroud can put up stats against depleted defenses. Let's see how he does next week against the Broncos. Should be a good test and one that CJ must pass in order to salvage the year

If you want to feel better watch the highlights of the jets/broncos.

I should point out that dallas’ defense is really, really bad.

but you just never know in the NFL

I’m not as worried about Denver’s Offense, Nix is streaky.
That defense just made one of the best offenses in the league look like crap.

Meanwhile, we struggled to score against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

We didn't struggle to score. We put up 26 points and basically didn't punt the whole game

26 points against 2nd and 3rd stringers is really awful when you consider the league average is 23 points per game overall.

The Texans likely don't score at all this game if the Niners defense is healthy.

Yeah I don't know what agenda you have but scoring on damn near every possession is literally not "struggling to score"

You can say that the Texans left points on the table, or that they need to prove they can do this against a good non injured defense. But saying that they struggled to score is objectively untrue

Brooks is what DeMeco wants, he's aggressive without dumb penalties. Controlled aggression.

Look at what the Bears and Rams did against that "banged up" Ravens' D. These are NFL players. Nobody makes excuses for Houston teams (Astros) when they are banged up. Stop doing it for other teams.

I guess you've gotten so accustomed to absolutely pathetic offense that you see average offense and think it's amazing.

Credit to the Texans for winning - they cost me a decent amount of money today - but more importantly the win kept the season from being over.

You have a weird agenda. Our QB had a great game, the team is showing progress in a must win contest and here you are whining about a press conference statement. I don't like all sorts of things about the Texans, but I would rather they win and prove me wrong.
