I think CJ cares though, Carr could not care less about football or his teammates. Hard to succeed when you're the laziest guy this side of jamarcus russell.

CJ Stroud telling the world he's on Drake Maye's level

    Bait.

But still, Maye just lit up one of the best defenses in the league.

    Still an upper tier defense.

Only at home, very mediocre/bad on the road usually. They're giving up about 32 ppg on the road. Probably not the worst defense on the road but certainly a bottom 5ish group.

    Yardage is still similar.
They played elite offenses (when healthy) on the road and had tons of turnovers on offense.

That D is elite on the road and home.

I remember laughing when people were worried about playing the browns in the playoffs 2 years ago when they made an insane defense and home and trash defense on the road.

They’re still a very good defense on the road. If they had any semblance of offense or just don’t let the opposing team score defensive TDs, scoring would be lower.
As it is, they had the best yardage per game defense in the league coming in today.

Texans have no semblance of an offensive and the defense has been ok LOL, i get your point though but it’s not fair to say they’re elite on the road when every year they have a massive split.

Nah they're a meh defense on the road. It was like that 2 years ago when we played them in the playoffs too.

I don’t know about that. But the dude looks damn good.
Quite a few in here tried to knock him (and still do)

Either way, I’m rolling with Stroud still. Hopefully he gets back to his rookie type play consistently

It was the BROWNS. When you don't have worry about your defense giving up points, it makes it alot easier on your offense.

He still doesn't have a 300 yard game.

The Browns that have an elite defense.
Who cares about some arbitrary number?
The dude is elite by every metric.
The YPA, Completion % are elite.
You don’t have to like it; but facts are Maye is in the MVP conversation as a second year player

Honestly, that’s what it seems like he needs.
Not sure I like that, but when he’s feeling good he can sling it.
Problem is when he gets a little mopey, he plays equally as bad.
Need a stone cold killer type personality
