Personally I dont believe in buy high sell low. We wont get anything for him at this point he seems like a nice dude might as well keep him maybe he gets better. He def shouldnt get a long leash uf he is playing like trash though.

Good post. Reed is not a PG yet. If he were a natural PG with PG instincts, we would have seen it. So - in fact, very much like a 21 year old FVV - we have to develop him into one. He's barely played before this season. Why would he be good at it right now? This is a yearS-long project. Not a summer job. These first 10-20 games of playing through his mistakes might be exactly what he needs to step into being a valuable rotation player. Cut down on what he doesn't do well, increase what he does well. Let's say the Mavericks start Cooper Flagg at PG and he SUCKS at it in his first game. That's it you "call a spade an spade" now? Needs some time. To me at least, Reed seems like he's learning rapidly since Preseason started. I'm excited to see what he looks like by Game 10 of the season.
Loved? Dude was the worst player in the league for the first 45 games of his NBA life. People have faulty memories. Basically because Jalen never had fundamentals growing up and he had to re-work those into his game very late.
So Reed will be ready in yearS, meaning after KD retires. What was the point of getting KD then? We should of kept Jalen and kept tanking
1. WE DID NOT KNOW FVV WOULD TEAR HIS ACL WHEN THE KD TRADE WAS MADE (a lot of people seem to not understand this) 2. We got Durant for basically nothing (the 10th pick in the draft and fodder) 3. Even with Jalen, in order to tank we'd need to have traded Sengun and Amen (obviously nonsense)
