Not fired. Just needs an assistant coach who can implement an offense that will maximize our talents.

Organization cucked to much to Ime and let him have his cake and eat it to with allowing him to prioritize Fred & trade for KD(who Stone apparently wasn’t dying for). I don’t think you’ll see OKC or the Spurs doing such things. The added guys like Fox & Porziņģis without giving up anything

Should’ve sent his boys Fred, Tari, and Reed for KD and kept Green & Brooks. Cam I’m 50/50 on but I think he would be a better spark off the bench then Reed

Sabonis was with OKC for a very very short period and not Porzingis but that was still in the Westbrook alone era.

You don't fire someone who just brought the team from being a lottery team to a contender in a short period of time. You do however make sure to set him up for success by surrounding the team with better personnel and in this case, a better offensive coordinator and a PG

Idk why I thought the rockets would run some variance of a triangle with Alpi, Kd, and Amen. I should’ve known better

The triangle has 2 parts to it. It's easy to get into. Even the warriors run some variation of it. Right now pick and roll and iso ball is not very good for a team missing a point guard.

The Warriors have a coach who won chips playing that offense. We have Ime who doesn't even know what an off-ball screen is. Why would you set him up for failure on something he's clearly incapable of comprehending?

True but KD ran in it Golden State, im not promoting fire Ime, but given the circumstances of no point guard, these kids need something that has more action in it. I see a lot of players just standing around in the iso and pick and roll game, which is fine if we had shooters and a point guard. The triangle would at least more movement from these guys and make easier. You could run Alpi in the triangle since he's a great passer. If nothing is there in the triangle then you go to the other side which kd and Steven Adams or a three point shooter and get into your pick and roll or back cut with space. Pippen, Shaq, and Rodman were all successful in it. Don't have to be MJ or Kobe

That's the main issue —— he would never do that. Ime is self-willed and extremely controlling. He only recruits people who are close to him to join his coaching staff. Offensive coaches like James Borrego and Mike Malone also need a lot of say, and Ime won't allow them to seize power.

It’s two close games and both against good teams! Sheesh
