Chill man, you didn't know who graham platner was 3 months ago, nobody did.

I'd still vote for a reformed Nazi over Susan Collins, a member of the American Hitler party who routinely VOTES TO CONFIRM ACTUAL NAZIS but to say "it's the Nazi tat Bernie bro or bust" is a false read on the situation.

Maybe one of the other 6 can cut a fierce promo.

Maybe they have a mean GOTV operation in Freeport - we don't know anything yet

Any evidence of Nazi-esque views other than a tattoo would be welcome. The notion that there’s “plenty of time to get a better candidate” is stupid. If it’s true, great. Nothing’s stopping that person from showing his or her face. Come on down. If the guy’s really a nazi it shouldn’t be hard to beat him.

I’m not sure this dude is a good candidate. By next week we will learn he abuses seniors.

Most republicans are constitutionalist so they probably wouldn't go for Trump round 3 to be honest.

I wouldn't because it sets a precedent similar to the problem you see in Venezuela right now. Obviously this country would never get to that point due to its economy, but zero chance.

the other 6 aren’t serious…matter of fact, 1 of them dropped out not even 24 hours ago and endorsed the 79 y/o Mills

Are you confusing Trump's maga base with true republicans?

I know but nobody thought Platner was serious (or had ever heard of him) either until he cut a few viral vids back in May or whatever

So then why haven’t any of the others done the same? The Democratic primary election isn’t that far away, yet here they are all still basically nameless unknowns who have done nothing.

if a reaction to Platner facing controversy is to drop out and endorse his main opponent, that means you were never serious to begin with

This isn’t even the 1st one to drop out, as another one already did so on October 15th. And guess who that was? It was Dan Kleban, the owner of Maine Beer Company that you were telling me about. And guess who he endorsed? The 79 y/o Mills. The rest are just there for the vibes, not to make any serious attempt at winning anything.

I think he knew what it meant. Most white men between 18-25, especially in his age demographic know what it is. If he didn't know what it was, I guarantee you multiple people told him. The most likely situation is that he was young, he got older and more experienced and changed his politics and views on the world.

The question is whether the Democratic Party wants to go down that track of basically letting voters decide without the Party pushing one candidate. It has worked well for the Republicans.
Republicans aren’t Constitutionalists, if they were there would be more push back against Trump. I have no doubt that the Republican Party will not stand in the way of him running in 2028 if they think he can win. The American people are being conditioned for it right now. The thing that may prevent it is either economic issues or Father Time.

I've seen plenty of pushback against Republicans.

Unfortunately our polictics are all owned by the same people.

We all fall in the same trap.

Each side pushes the weird 10% views.

The other side attacks them for it and it causes both sides to get defensive and pick a side.

That's how it all works my friend.

You choose the lesser of two evils every year.

This guy is going to be the next Senator of Maine - the DNC needs to start getting behind authentic candidates like him, he is the future.

Out of curiosity, did he have it covered up before or after he began running for office?

you see the way he rose so quickly before the controversy…his message and platform is what sells

beating out Chuck Schumer’s geriatric pick by 30+ points

people are sick and tired of weak and spineless do-nothing Democrats

Donald Trump is on the verge of attacking Venezuela and not a peep from Democrats…they get handed easy touchdowns and then fumble and trip with no defender anywhere near them

they blow easy layups time and time again

live look at the Dems under Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and the rest of the weaklings

Mainly like this. I guess you could call then weaklings. That accusation assumes they really give much concern about ordinary people beyond the narrowness of their own political careers which are financed by the same crew, often Zionist billionaire genociders

Now it’s being reported Platner made homophobic remarks on social media around 2016-2021.
